Ah, found it. The anti-Necropotence card

Blue-either counterspell or Vesuvian Doppleganger.
Counterspell-Nothing beats the feeling of countering your friends 30 damage fireball.
Vesuvian Doppleganger-It can be anything. I once cloned my Vesuvian with a Clone. I had only one Vesuvian but had more than enough clones, so I dropped her down, then summoned the Clones.
why does that last part sound familiar....?

I enjoy variants on the counterspell, such as (my favorites) Force of Will and Thwart. Both of those are game winners in my book.

Just because dual lands are broken doesn't mean other cards aren't A broken card is one that is very powerful with little cost.
If you look at some of the black or red anti-weenie cards, they're pretty much broken, too.
Anyway, I won't say the Anvil of Bogardan is broken. It's just a more powerful version of Library of Leng and Spellbook, but it also renders you more susceptable to Stormseeker and the like. It's just that Necropotence works in the discard phase, which gets totally choked by the Anvil.

it was all blue actually (just had a couple creatures that change the land type (So I could change an island into a plains and put out the Outpost and than pump out soldiers with the outpost))

Censorship could do some serious harm to a sliver deck...
But clearly the best card is The Cheese Stands Alone.

Unglued Cards rule. I actually own an Urza's Science Fair Project. But I still prefer playing against the Knight of the Hokey Pokey.
edit: I've just re-read the card lists. Some of these are so good. And... why is it that they also have the coolest land art of any expansion? It's amazing.

Land Destruction is also powerful against Sliver decks cause you have to use at least 3 colours to have a powerful sliver deck.
And yes, humility is painful.... but it does cripple your creatures too.... so its not much of a sideboard, unless you have direct damage.

Apparently people were buying Unglued packs just for the lands.
And for Timmy, Power Gamer. Just wait til I get my Leviathan.

Yeah, I did once or twice. Got me some plains and an island. Trouble was that £2 was quite a lot for one land card, when I needed 20 or 30.

How useful is lingering death? I got one card of it in the booster pack I bought and was thinking of slipping it into my Zombie deck.

Nope. Wards (i.e., protection from some colour) doesn't work against non-targeted spells.

Humility is a non-targetted effect, so is extinction. Humility is much more fun because unless the player decided to put in a disenchant, the game is over.
I lost once to the combo of Humility, and Island Sanctuary. My friend asked me if I had a disenchant. I ended up drawing all my deck just to make sure.

I once proposed at the MTGNews.com message boards that there should be Dinosaur creatures. A couple of 14-year-olds lectured me that Magic is not set on Earth and that Dinosaurs are inappropriate, but I got the last laugh.

That could be useful if you don't have other major ways to wipe out enemy meanies.
More useful though if you combine it with re-animation spells, ones that let you dig through graveyards to put critters in play.
