The civ2 gaming zone is gone.. no reson . trying a new room called ZoneLan-Direct play-Strategy Play... for now .. unless some1 has a better idea. post it here

Civ2 is gone on the zone!? Pah! That's old hat anyway. Try something different for a change! Like Freeciv...

I'm happy to inform you that the Freeciv pubserver at http://pubserver.freeciv.org/ has always been open for players and always will be as long as the Freeciv community continues.

As the saying goes "It's ready when it's ready"

1.14 actually offers a lot what Civ2 players demand right now. Why not try that version for awhile?

Of course you can always try to speed up the process by becoming involved yourself via betatesting, coding, contributing, designing rulesets/graphics etc...

There's another Freeciv longturn planned, this one will be played with regular Civ2 rules. And these sort of games can be played with a lot of players at the same time. However we need 10-15 people before we can start.
