City naming thread
This may be the job of someone else, but since I might be struggling with new city names if we don't get some soon, I wanted it started now.
Our current capital name is Imperialis. The other cities we have are Dominion and Majestica. These cities were named from a vague sense of Imperialistic ideals.
Other names in the same vein could be:
Supremus
Gloriolis
Grandeurial
Magnifica
I'm just brainstorming here - let me know what you think and whether we should change our existing city names.

First we need a theme.
What theme do we need for our cities, apropriately befitting the glorious Imperial empire?

i like the theme so far (maybe Glorificus, Splendor, Hegemony and Realm of Power), but might be kinda hard to maintain after a while.

How about we go with Pax Apolyton? And how about Bellum Apolyton as well?

Nah, Bagdad is too politically charged right now. It worthwhile to avoid disension.

So we have some names for those cities we found ourselves (the Pax Apolytonias and Splendors), and many many more for those we will catpure (Pillage Village - I love that one; Mayhem et al). This is good, as we expect to capture more cities than we will found, right?
Any problem with any of these names, excepting Baghdad?

I second that - perhaps it would move the curse of the bambino from RL into the game.
