As posted in two other threads I intend to conduct a minor raid on Talinn, to destroy presumed aircraft there.

Talinn falls!
I sold the recident power plant and evacuated the city.
One bomber and two Me 109 where destroyed.
I now plan to strengthen my defences for the approaching summer

Excellent job ambushing the facists. They did not expect the Red Navy to fool them so.

Apparently, the facist lackey's (Finn's) still possess a potent naval force despite the disaster that has been inflicted to their army on land.

Oh well, as long as they only have their navy left. They can't use it to attack most of our cities, and Leningrad has coastal artillery.

Yes, but not for long.... there are some germans outside the city that are going to capture the city next turn.

The poor baltic workers. It seems almost cruel to abandon them again, we have grown dear to them.
(Look at a map of 1939 pre-war and after, notice what happened to the baltics when the war started )

I cannot belive that the belorussian front doesn't have the western most city (not including UK) under its control.
I'll have to rectify this asap.

Comrade Henrikov: Is it possible that you could lend me an engineer or two to complete roads so I have a clear path for a possible summer offensive aimed at Riga?

Sure, I have more than I know what to do with anyway (though I seem to be getting more and more all the time).

Henrik has been using them to build forts under his forts. And industry around Leningrad.
And if we use anything to build cities it should be laborers homed to a city not a unhomed labor brigade.
If you dont need them for defensive or offensive purposes ship them to the Urals they would be helpful building industry. I would be more than happy to have you use some of my homed laborers to build cities closer to the front we can just fly them in somewhere.

We need them for the build-up in the Ural. We need more units and thus production, and we can do this by building more industry in the Ural. As far as I understand, Henrik isn't going to attack this summer and he gets one every turn by event, so he could send some to the Ural and use the new he receives to build the roads this winter. By doing so we will be able to provide the fronts with more units next winter and launch more or bigger offensives!

I second that if we do build any new cities, we obviously should use homed engineers/refugees instead of NONE units.

October 1942 post move
As you can see Talinn fell again, no units lost, and this time I intend to stay
Our brave pilots also sunk the finnish cruiser in the Finnish bay, preventing it from aiding it's german allies in Estonia.
I intend to ship the troops in Talinn further south as soon as all germans in the area have been eliminated.
I've also begun the reconstruction of the road from Leningrad to Talinn and the cities in the Leningrad area are slowly begining to lose their garrisons (as I intend to take them closer to the action ).

It's all coming together this month, Terrific victories have been won on every single front played so far! The North-West, 1st Ukranian, 2nd Ukranian an Baltic Fronts have pushed the Germans hundreds of miles back.
Now, Into Germany!
BTW: Don't forget to leave some units behind to deal with happiness issues
