I agree with the Anzac, I think we should leave that road open, with the counter attack demyansk won´t be hard to defend

We already have cut the road at Novogorod I think, We can't use it anymore as a fast supplyline, but we could deny the road to the Germans!

Nothing has come close to even threatening the heart of my front, so I doubt the germans all of a sudden will come out of the area north of Demyansk (which is not a good staging area at all) and heavily assault Demyansk.

The germans are allready north of Demyansk, I had to kill german tanks just south of novgorod this turn.
Also we are now closer to Riga than before as Talinn fell to my troops this turn

OK, I held my position strong and took out 3 German tank units. However my cities are lacking in aircraft defense. All I have is 3 AA batteries (2 are in Kalinin) and one La-5 in Demyansk. i'm going to try and rush AA batteries in Demyansk and Kholm. Do you think the Luftwaffe will strike hard in May? I hope not

They normally strike hard in this summer. You better start rushing some AA's or LA-5's. Let's hope we have destroyed enough of his planes to give us some time. Like I already said a few times before, we should redistribute the airforce, so that you can engage against his bombers

Ask the Marshal for LA-5's from other fronts, where they can rush buy new ones

Where was this about? Did you have follow on defensive units to protect the SU-122's.?
Great job comrade! Next stop Vilnius!

We seem to be on the offensive on our northern fronts! If this continues this way, we could be fighting in East Prussia next winter, and take the war to Germany

I didn't want to risk anymore units out in the open, so I left the SU-122s there alone. But I just made a kill ratio of 6:1 so I'm not too worried if they get destroyed. The Luftwaffe, if it attacks, will take out anything, even any defensive units I could have sent.
The area: the bottom edge of the marshes south of Leningrad, around square (45,61)
Now if I can get an engineer to build a road, then I will have a clean path to Riga.......

Are you planning to retake Riga this summer, or are you just preparing everything for the coming winter? I like the offensive war we are fighting but I don't know if we will have enough units, as comrade Naldayev and Figikovsky will need units to defend their fronts!
If you think yo can do it though, go for it! For the Rodina and the Party!

I plan to strike whenever it is opportune: whether it be winter or summer, it makes no difference. I have a sizeable force on my front and would only need limited if any reinforcements to launch the offensive.

Ok here is my possible plan map: I am completely open to suggestions. But one thing I need is more katyushas. I have enough tanks and versatile infantry (RGs, SGs, and Cossacks) planes (2 Sturmoviks, though I could use 1 or 2 more). Kats I will need if I launch this, especially if I do this before winter.
So here it is: Part one- I build the roads needed to connect me to Daugavpils and the former Velkiye Luki-Riga road. I take Daugavpils and the fortress.
Part two- I take Riga and possibly Pskov (both of which I will eventually give back to Henrik) If I have stuff left, I will try to consolidate in Daugavpils.
Part three- connect the roads to Kaunas and take the city. If I have the ability, I will take Vilnius too.
How does it sound?

What about striking at Riga from Daugavpils? I think the Baltic Front should be able to handle Pskov on it's own. Also, would controling Arzamas yourself help you in this campaign? I think Colwyn would agree to cede it to you for the benefits of his northern flank being defended. (Actually I know he will because I can tell him to like )
Everyone is begging for Katys, I hope the Armaments minister is taking notes

Good plan. We really should start rebuilding those roads.
