Returning to topic, What about the Olimpics Games of Apolyton suggested in this thread? Are more people, besides Hercules, willing to set-up teams for Civ2 or Civ3?

hi ,
, .... well actually things might go good if there would be patches for all the local language versions of CIV III , ....
then in about a couple months we would see the poly-impics
have a nice day

Its not just the Spanish versions, it seems to be all non-US versions. Even the UK versions, which they don't even bother translating from Yankee-Doodle, is unduly delayed.

Then I don't understand... The English version should be very easy to adapt - only change the CD protection...

You're talking about the evil dudes (Firaxis and Infogrames) so nothing is "easty to..." with them
Maybe they will release a new CivIII version; the 'All things we should do in the first place' pack
Last week arrived to Chile, CIVIII on spanish... how more months we should wait until have the PTW on spanish??
I'm tired to play games on english.. not because I didn't like the language or I didn't get it, but because if a version in spanish have been released why they took so long to bring it here

I claim Israeli to antagonize people who consider it to be fascist. But I am in real life an American, and not even a Jewish one at that.

So far I'm the sole representative of East Timor, and I don't live there. But I don't have CivIII, so I guess I can't participate in 'Polympics. Lucky for you, since I'm such a frickin' genius.

Suggestions for Olympic format.
Maybe a series of H2H's
Then maybe some 3 factions(1 team) v 3 factions (1 team).
Perhaps all on the smallest map to increase contact.
A challenge scenario, time limited.
Just some preliminary ideas

We need to start a thread for the teams.

If you have any grandparent, great grand parent, great great grandparent with an Irish background, you can join the Irish team.
