How about Dr Claw from the Inspector Gadget cartoon? He was great. You never saw his face, only the back of his chair and his iron glove when he was petting his cat. And at the end of the show, when Gadget won, he would always escape shouting,"you will pay for this Gadget, MUHAHAHAHA!"
