Next elections
Well there has been issue recently with the term currently in possession of the save starting late and having now run into May, the date that a second term should have started. This poll is to discover what course of action we should take about this.

1. Let the current administration run until the end of May - elections about the 26nd and the new admin takes over on June 1 (or thereabouts).

2. Hold nominations and elections immediately, meaning the new term would start around the 12th (3 days nominations, 3 days elections after this poll of 3 days).

3. Let the current admin run until they have completed a full month (started April 19), thus the new term will start then, after elections about the 16th.

4. The current admin stays in until about the 22nd, then Term 2 runs from then until the end of June - two 5 week terms then we are back to the normal calendar month terms.

The pros and cons:

Judging from the response to the thread about what to do with elections, there shouldn't be too much issue now with finding candidates, so elections could be hold straight away. However, the whole point of having terms start at the start of the month is to ensure it is easy to follow when new elections must be held.

Poll is for 3 days.

It's almost correct in Dutch (nominaties)

maybe we could drag this till the end of the month so we get back on the usual track.

I chose #4 to give The current administration a little more time in order to make up for the bumpy start. But anything that gets terms back on full months (#'s 1 and 4) is fine with me.

#4:
#1 means the current cabinet gets 1.5 months,
#2 means they get 1/2 of a month,
#3 means elections are all screwy.

Right! Number 4 - nominations the 16th or so - is what it will be.

This suits me personally too, as I am out of the country from the 26th.

should the nominations be posted for the next elections now?

As this game needs to be revitalized with some speedy , confident president and cabinet

I have just announced my candidacy for President in the nominations thread. I will be that confident and speedy President! And I can send multiple emails without any problem.

You can be assured of regular play, thorough screenshots, and judicious (but firm) management of Ministers. I believe in letting the Ministers do their jobs, but I will remind them quickly when they are neglecting their dutiies!

Vote for Cavebear, early and often!

please don't, it's really strange when you get a poll where 150% of the ppl have voted...
75% voted option A
50% voted option B
and 25% voted option C...

it's confusing as hell

(btw otherwise it's a nice quote of Al Capone)

if the poll allows for more than one option to be chosen, and i agree with more than one option and don't find them mutually exclusive, i do sometimes choose multiple options (ie small circle around the city to remove some (not lots) of the dark space then enter the city as the martial law/defender.

if i have time (which i don't seem to have much of more often than not now ), i'll put in an explanation. If not, I assume the creator of the poll recognized some of the options were not mutually exclusive and act accordingly
