Hey everyone.
Sorry I've been silent so long. My cousin and I weren't in much so I haven't had a chance to write. But now he's gone home and I'm left alone with no more English relatives to talk to I promise I'll get my ball rolling shortly.

Rats
There was so much I wanted to do to tie up the loose ends before my vacation - but I discovered IP smacing and boy, how the time passed in the six games or so I played.
To avoid any of my characters stalling the plotline, assume (and I'll write the relevent pieces on my return):
Ron and Ruth surface at the monolith by the keep (just south of Sparta Command) and get welcomed by Catherine's troops and taken to her in the keep.
Sven makes it to Great Conclave, rallying to him there the other surviving mercs
Chuck Washington – from Nwabudike Morgan
Jennifer D’Aquila – from Dee
Nikki Petrov – from Corazon Santiago
Padraig Flannagan – from the Yoop resistance
Tommy Schumacher – from Pravin Lal
At GC he forms an Elite group able to defend GC - perhaps split them into two groups to help defend the new base as well (feel free to write re them - just don't kill off Jenni or Nikki)
Stazi and Shauna as a team have some interesting training experiences at the Circle against Angel/Angelica
Anson, Kurt and Miles make it to the Hive Covert Ops, only to find that Stazi, Shauna, A and A have departed on a mission with Sand - they can't find out where - Sand's psi-blocks are too good
So they head to great Conclave to join the Elites.
Googlie meets with Megan, they get into the net, and meet Kri'lan (I'll see if I can add a chapter from an internet cafe somewhere)
The Gaians set up their new headquarters at Gaia Revered
Googlie

Hey all,
I recently posted my 150th post to SC. At a minimum of 3 pages per post that’s well over 500 pages. Who would have believed that back in July 1999, when I reluctantly joined the ‘militaristic’ Spartan Chronicles as the Rolling Thunder armor author, that it would come to this? Certainly not me!
I has and continues to be a fun ride. I’ll try to pick up the pace not that The Googlie is on vacation.
Hydro
P.S. – Argo – I’ll be around for the SC chat next Monday. Sorry for missing, but I was visiting grandparents and family last Monday. Would another day be better?

I'm pretty easy, it just has to be in the evening. I'm in Toronto every weekday from 7 to 7 for school, so something like 8:30pm is good for me. What about you?

Hey everyone.
Just a quick note to make sure everyone is aware that there will be a chat in Googlie's chat room again Monday at 8:30pm EST (7:30pm CNTRL) to just discuss plot lines, etc. So anyone who wants to stop by are more than welcome too. Hydro and I will both be there, and I'll try and make sure I put out a transcript in Googlie's absence. Hope to see people there.

Sorry I missed the chat Hydro and anyone else who was there. My stupid server has been playing up, and it wouldn't let me connect earlier. I was only able to finally get on-line now.

I'm back, and happily married now I might add. I'm going to be busy still for the next while catching up and stuff - as well as adoring my wife - but I shall be returning.

Argo,
Would that be 7:30 cst? or 8:00?
Also, senetus is typically unavailable Monday, unless little league is done for the year.

Sorry Hydro,
My computer decided to shut down my internet connection, then I couldn't get back in the chat room. Sorry, I didn't mean to bail like that.

Hey,
Hydro just checking that it's all right if I'm borrowing Junior for a bit of romance with Roze. Have you decided how much he was affected by Yang's teachings?
Oh, and by the way, in regards to the last transcript. 24 is not old for a 19 year old (re: Jess and Jay). I should know because I happen to be dating a 24 year old, and I would be 19 myself. And yes, I'm pretty sure that makes me the youngest.

No worries. I just had a window open keeping an eye on it while I did other stuff. And don't worry, I can COMPLETELY understand internet connection problems!

I like the way the plot is going.
I (handwrote) prepped two additional segments but never got near an internet site that gave me more than 1/2 hour, so I'll post them on Thursday when I'm back home, maybe as filed reports rather than narrative (to account for the elapsed time since the events)
Did we decide the Caretakers would appear on Chiron?

Sorry I missed as well; down sick with cold and a bad case of the "busy"s, and I haven't had much time to post. With Googlie back volume for SC should go up - we can't let those Chiron Chronicles catch up! .
BTW, I only have 2 pics there so far, but if you'd like to see what I was up to in September, go to winston.istop.com/~wedding.html

I wasn't sure whether to post this here, or email googlie personally, but when I went to his website and tried to download the first two volumes of the spartan chronicles I got told that they weren't valid zip files. I tried downloading them a few times but I still got the same response. Is the problem mine (haven't had any troubles unziping downloaded stuff before) as the help says the main reason for this is corrupt downloads, which is why I tried a few times. Could they be corrupt at the source?

Hmmm - just went there and d/l'd the volume 1 zip set, and unzipped successfully.
I'll e-mail the zip file to you and see if it is just a d/l problem or a zip problem you're experiencing

By any chance are you using a Unix/Linux box? I tried to unzip on my own, so I could use my Wordperfect/Linux, and unzip complained. I used a Windoze box, and WinZip succeeded. Something proprietary in the format?
