"What the hell!? Are those Planetminds forces? But what is a Gunship doing with them?" a moments silence.
"Comm. station, send an alert message to Commanders Keep, send with it all data we have on that fleet and request for backup, now. Okay helm, get us out of here."

"" Yes, Sir""

Suddenly a wave of fear and agony together hits the whole crew. Many of the crewmen in the bridge fall down on the floor immediately, paralyzed by fear and screaming. Only the captain and few other are able sustain their mental steadiness.

"What the f*ck is happening is happening!? Radar, what the hell attacked us? We´re still too far from the isles."

""I don´t know... wait a minute... Jesus Christ, its a damn Sealurk! it seems to be circling us.""

Yet another Psi wave hit the ship.

"Sh*t, Radar, take the weapons console and start shooting that thing!"

The Captain ran to the Comm. consoles and started send a distress message.
Just as he was able to send the message, a third Psi wave hit them. He fell on his knees, but wasn´t paralyzed. Instead, a single sentence came into his mind, destroy yourself. He punched a series of codes from the console and activated the self-destruct sequence.

""Sir, what are you doing!?" The radar officer screamed. His left eye was bleeding badly and he had a shredder in his hand, in front of him a Spartan officers dead body.

The Captain didn´t answer, he just stared blankly the console, counting.

""Sir! Wake up! Stop the sequence, snap out of it!"" The radar officer came next to him, trying to shake him awake.

""Sir, I regret doing this but tell me the password for cancelling the sequence, or I will have to relieve you from your duties."" The officer lifted the shredder and pointed the Captain in the head.
Something took over him, and he pulled the trigger.

""Oh God!... what have I done?"" the shoked officer looked at the console and the numbers ticking there. It showed 56 seconds until detonation.

""Oh sh*t..."" He sat down besides the Captains headless body and started crying. He could feel as the powerful emotion of fear too over him, and he succumbed to it.
The last words he muttered showed a hint into what nightmares he was sinking in.

"Please, it all happened so fast, i couldn´t do anything. I am not quilty, I didn´t want to kill him...something took control over me...I´m innocent...""

ex-Head Academican Eustace Clairvont-Clairveux who quit his office several weeks ago has a new replacement in his office at this point. Prokhor Zakharov, our original leader of 80 years ago has returned to power, running against only two others, Zakharov cleaned up in the polls with a 95% lead. This will hopefully usher in a new golden age of discovery for the University.

Contact has been lost for years, but we can safely assume they have made numerous discoveries in the time they have lived isolated. With the combined research power and military might we have, the two parts of the University, once combined, will easily crush the Cyborgs or Data Angels, should the occasion arise for their needed ellimination.

On the Cult Demonboil Isle...

The Psi Talent shocked out of her trance; she murmoured "The sealurk suceeded, the spartan ship will selfdestruct... less than a minute to go" she resumed the trance, guiding the sealurk from the doomed ship.

The Cult commander wasted no time, "Attention! Within minutes a shock wave is going to hit! All Isle's are to stop and face Northwest, there might be a tidal wave!". On the other Isles the talents relayed the instructions, as one the isles settled into the ocean and turned.

The other Cult Sealurk rised out of the ocean and wrapped it's tenticles around the Unity foil, and with the psi message "HOLD YOUR BREATH" sunk beneath the waves, bringing the foil with it.

Planetisles.... there is going to be a big explosion... prepare for wind... prepare for wave...

The skies lit with the brilliance of the nuclear explosion, less than a minute later the shockwave arrived, the sea was flattened by it's fury, the cult isles sank deeper as the nuclear wind passed over them. The wind quickly abated and the isles surfaced, already repair worms swarmed over the areas exposed to the blast. The unity foil came crashing up, the sealurk had left to find it's companion.

The tidal wave was almost an anti-climax, the isles were prepared and easily rode the wave, the contents got shaken up a bit though.

"Damage report?"
"Mostly minimal, the isles were burnt in places, but are repairing the damage as we speak. All of the mindworms are fine, I think they quite enjoyed the action. None of the human crew have suffered any major injuries... altough the unity foil wasn't so lucky, several of the crew got washed overboard and presumably killed in the blast, but the hull integrity is still good. That was quite a stunt with the sealurk."
"Our equipment?"
"Mostly undamaged, once we get to UN Haven city we can replace or repair the stuff that got broken"
"Very well, send a copy of the damage report back to Dawn of Planet, I want a completed inventory check too, once you know what needs replacing send a list to UN Haven City, they can have it ready for when we arrive."

"The report on the sealurks has just come in, the one which destroyed the Spartan foil has taken heavy damage, the other sealurk is currentely helping it stay afloat"

I am sorry to say that even my best Planetisles cannot detect life in U.N. SeaQuest. A Planetisle will make a sail by to double check in a day.

After the last of the Data Angel troops had cleared out of the Manifold Nexus several drones appeared from an opening in the largest structure. They rolled up to the rovers and brought them inside. They dismantled the rovers and took out their nuclear reactors. They put these on a dumb waiter and the reactors decended into a huge garage.

Inside the garage a few drones took the reactors and inserted into two of the 10 Battle Ogres Mk III that were inside the garage. The Ogres were led to an elevator and they went up to the surface and slid into the hidden battlements near the main structure.

Back up into the shop above the garage, the drones started taking the rover parts and built a large car. The car was then filled with explosives and was taken to a armored cell. That would be used for later.

OOC: Is it OK to have the Manifold Nexus the only place where Battle Ogres can be repaired?

U.N. SeaQuest survivors found...

Our rescue ships, along with the UN Navy, found several transports. So far, about 20 000 out of 58 000 people who resided at SeaQuest survived. Many of the transports are damaged, so they are being escorted to Peacekeeper Island. The rescue ships continue to move towards the SeaQuest area to find anymore survivors, either life pods or more transport ships.

Investigations on the SeaQuest tragedy continues...

Practicly all of the Chiron Alliance is investigating as to which faction the Probe Team belonged too who caused the fission blast that destroyed SeaQuest. The only suspects are the Hive and the Spartans, but no one knows for sure. The investigations are kept secret, so cannot provide much details.

Spartan-Peacekeeper borders are contantly heating up...

After the destruction of SeaQuest, the border have become lot more hostile. The PCF units are more eager for battle than ever, they are becoming almost as fanatical as the believers. No doubt that a war will break up, they are just waiting as to who will strike first. Anything can spark it.

There is something odd going on with the Free Drones...

The populace of the Free Drone faction received an faction-wide message of a new leader, yet there is no confirmation or how it come to be. There is no election for several more years and Foreman Domai is still incharge. There is possibilities that it was ment to instigate the anti-Hive sentiment among the faction. The peace negociations between the Hive and the Free Drones continues, which is leading to nowhere at the moment.

Main Fleet ceases the blockades of Morgan Bases...

Captain Svensgaard as ordered the stop of the Blockades in accordance to the agreement at the Planetary Council almost couple of months ago.

Provost Zhakarov becomes Head Acadamician of University once again...

Zhakarov as become leader of the University of Planet once again. As to what will happen is unknown, but relations are starting to strain. Captain Svensgaard refused to comment on the matter.

Sealurk injured by underwater shockwave, after all it was right next to the ship a minute before the explosion. And battleogres MK3?! They are powered by a quantum chamber! using fission is like taking an engine out of a mini and using it to power a combat tank

Planetmind. Spartans will attack the peacekeepers... that is the idea. together, The Cult and peacekeepers destroy the attacking spartan army. This weakens the spartans, reduces harm they can inflict. Alternate scenerio: Cult fleet returns home. Spartans work unmolested on new and more powerfull weapons.. airpower, when they are completed spartans attack peacekeepers with irrestistable force... if spartans not goaded into battle now, before they are fully prepared, spartans may never be stopped. I plead, call off your planetisles, for I must always fight for planet, even if I must fight you...

OOC: There is a third cult Sealurk trailing the planetisles, it was on patrol around the spartan/PK area, it was the one which was available to pick up the cult scout (but didn't). It is submerged.

Klaxons were wailing all over the docks, and hundreds of Spartans were running around, some to their foils, others servicing them.

The whole Expansion fleet was now being mobilised, and the scout fleet was gathering in front of the base.
Rumours said that that the two fleets were going against a fleet native lifeforms. The Isles of Deep, some sealurks and a Unity Gunship had destroyed already one of the attack foils belonging to the Scout fleet, an act of War.

Soon, the fleet of foils was ready for departure. As the combined fleets quietly left Commanders Keep, the local people went too see them, some maybe for the last time.

Admiral, you are going for a safari hunt. Either Planetmind, Antimind or the Cult have gathered a sizeable fleet, coming this way. Anyway, they destroyed one of our attack foils, and because of that we are declaring them War. Intercept this fleet, and destroy it. No mercy, sink the damn worms to the bottom, and the traitor humans with them.
Use tactic 17, attack foils first and as scouts, Then War foils as the heavy cavalry, and the superior foils as heavy support, against both sea and air forces.

Speech by Prime Function Aki Zeta-5, re: mass exodus from University territory

Following the re-election of convicted criminal Prokhor Zakharov as Academician of the University of Planet, all Cybernetic citizens living under the University banner, fearing for their lives, have fled to the safe havens of the Consciousness. They bear with them a tattered, torn, dirtied rag which is all that remains of the fine tapestry of hope which we once wove from all our dreams for this pristine globe we call Chiron. Those hopes were shattered when the University declared war on us for nothing less than wanting to live our own lives our own way.
With the re-election of Prokhor Zakharov as Academician, despite his assurances that he would keep his distance from Planetary politics, all our fears spring once again, as fresh as they have always been. Not for nothing was he convicted of crimes against our people. We can only pray that sanity, compassion and diplomacy will come to the fore, and that another terrible war will be averted.

We will be making a public protest against the return of Zakharov (much against my better judgement, but justice will be seen through). Will you join us? I do not like to think the worst of anyone, but I am certain that he has not changed. Much as I would hate to see war ravage this planet again, I see very little way in which it can be averted.

Alas, my friend, truly it seems that every time we meet we are discussing tactics, strategies, preparations for war. How I long for those too-short years of peace, when all there was to talk about was the minor skirmishes on other continents. How distant war always seemed then, like a bad dream from which we had woken. We must be vigilant, that we do not sleep again.
What it must be to be a Citizen, to walk the quiet streets of Alpha Prime, to linger by the green spires of the Hybrid Forest. What it would be to let these burdens drop from our shoulders, just for a day, and revel in the beauty of this Planet.

Admiral, watch your step closely. I had a dream last night, which somehow confirmed that the fleet you are to intercept is from Planetmind. However, planetmind seemed different, and ready to do battle with us. Thats why I want you to be careful, PM might be planning a trap.
Now we have a quilty for the destruction of the attack foil, so as of this day we are once again in War with Planetmind and her forces.

Fleet mobilised!

A few days ago, Sea HQ in Commanders Keep received a distress message from one of the attack foils. It seems that a fleet of Isles of Deep and Sealurks had attacked and destroyed our foil. Officials suspect Planetmind behind this act, and have declared war to the entity. The combined force of our two fleets has been sent to eliminate this new threat and to, once and for all, show the superiority of human beings over the native life.

New units ready

At long last the cripled industry has managed to build the long awaited new units.
Seven new ground units and five new air units were today shown to the public in a parade through their home bases. Especially the new airjets excited the the crowds, though the newest technology using ground rovers weren´t much behind in popularity either.
These new units are to be sent to the southern border, to show the peacekeepers the true meaning of war.

Ground Units:

- 2 War rover units, Elite.
- 2 AAA rover units, Elite.
- 2 Msl rover units, Elite.
- One War artillery unit, Elite.

Air units:

- 3 Interceptors
- 2 Bombers

To the dissapointment of all of us, info from Sparta HQ said that, though new war units will be built, the already existing ones are taking a huge amount of industrial resources and the production of all future units will be considerably slowed down.

(OOC: And nobody dare to to say I hurried the construction of these units. the Air units I began to build 21/2 in my biggest bases, and the ground units even earlier. Grr!
