Man Utd are not good enough to compete on a European Stage, Italian clubs are

In my humble opinion, ManU would have been a better semi-finalist that the italian teams... I like much more its way of playing football than the calcio's way....

Well that's a load of bollocks. ManU beat Juventus 2-1 and 0-3 in the second group stage. That's a5-1 aggregate win.
ManU aren't as good as Real Madrid but they are still as good as any other team in the competition. And they beat Real at home anyway and if things had gone their way they could have won.

And judging for the level of play in this week's matches, even Ajax deserved a semi-final place more than certain Italian teams I have no illusions about them taking home the title, but at least they make the game worth watching...

Dang, I was in Punta Sabioni yesterday and no Internet-Café around!
Oh, I'd have predicted wrong anyway.
I wanted to predict 1-0 for Inter
Well, today I wanted to predict 1-1, like Paul, but that's not really the way to catch up again, so it's a 2-1 victory for Juventus.

I have uploaded the spreadsheet with all the results.
The final will be played in two weeks, and 5 people can still win. In theory MikeH can also still win, but only if two players overtake Van Nistelrooy in the topscorers list.

As a Real Madrid fan, I want to congratulate Juve on a game well played.
I think the management should look into boosting defence and defensive midfield.

Great game
Juve really showed how good football should be played. They gave 100% all the time, great technique, good passing, solid defence, used the full width of the field.
Too bad that Nedved woun't be playing in the final. He's one of my absolute favorites, if he only could put his 'acting career' on hold. I only saw the first Milan-game but as Juve played now they have to be favorites for the title.

Of the top 5 players Locutus, OFITG and I have predicted Van Nistelrooy as the topscorer. We will get 10 points for that if he stays first, or 3 points if Inzaghi scores 3 or more goals in the final. The next still active player is Del Piero who would have to score 8 goals to overtake Van Nistelrooy, so that probably won't happen. Wernazuma and Zopperoni predicted Ronaldo and will get no points for that.
Of the current top 5 only Zopperoni's predicted CL winner reached the final. Zopperoni will get 25 points if Juve wins the CL or 6 points if Milan wins the CL.

I'm sad because we didn't get into the final, but, you can't go to the final every year
