NOV 1941; Are the Facists Losing Steam?
Phase II Marshall and Armaments Minister Turn
Numerous improvement sold near the Front line:
Biggest finds were a RR terminal in Ashkatran and Lenningrad that once sold did not have an effect on the trade either city brought in. Hmmmm. They brought in lots of rubbles however. Maybe they aren't "ACTIVE" until that wonder is built? Well either way we needed the cash now! And if there are any in the Caucass, Ill leave them alone.
Most other cities either sold an NKVD Barracks or a library. I believe one bank was sold in Luga. And a big improvement in Novograd (Since Im assuming those cities days are numbered.....)
I rush built a lot of Cossacks and Barracks all over.
And still wound up with over 200 rubles left.
And of course the most important thing; Borisov renamed to Knapovichgrad.
All Refugees moved towrds the REAR. Several are waiting around key cities needing roads and industry for activation next turn. One Gorky refugee headed to 71,33 to found a new city.
Reinforcements moved up. Several either made it or are headed for Serafimovich in the south.
Units still moving up from the Caucass.
Units moved from east of Moscow towards Moscow and Smoelensk
And units were rearranged between Reinforcements, Smolensk, Bryansk and Kiev and Gomel.
The net result of the above was two less units in Kiev, and three units in Gomel. All other cities stayed static in numbers of troops. Appropriate "rehoming' was conducted as necessary.
So I made my decision on Gomel and landed somewhere between Comrades Pavlov and Shemir. I guess we shall see what the German moves bring!

Facist Dog's Turn!
KIEV, LENINGRAD AND GOMEL HOLD!
Remember this day comrades this proves the Marshall's ability to defend the Rodina is GOD LIKE!:
German's capture:
Stalino-3 rubles
Poltava-2 rubles
Zaporozhye-3 rubles
Voroshilovgrad-3 rubles
Kholm-1 rubble
Bryansk-3 rubles.
Kiev and Gomel are down to 4 and 1 unit each. I suggest we sell the most expenive improvment in each city this turn.
Karl withdraws from Leningrad!
Minor battles outside Leningrad has no effect on city defenses.
Battles outside of Perekop and ROSTOV have little or no effect on defenses.
Battles outside of Smoelelnsk and Vitebsk, there could have been damage there. Comrade Pavlov will have to keep us informed as he usually does.
49 total units killed.
No pictures this time I got too much real life stuff to do right now. If you want a picture load up the file, take the picture and post it.

The Murmansk front commander must inform you guys about the loss of 2 supply convoys who were heading towards Murmansk harbor.
The casualties seem to have been caused by German planes.
I urgently need some kind of attack fleet to defend my transports, or at least some transport ships to be able to set up a ship chain.

Yep sorry I forgot to mention that, at least the convoys only had two units each on them.
I think Convoys chains inside our mine "fences" should be allowed. However the rules we all agreed to at the start of this are pretty clear:
Game Rules
Using MGE not FW
No disbanding Red Army units en masse during opening months. (as the events need them)
No pillaging of fortress's in summer 41 (events need them)
No Airlifting UK convoys to anywhere on the continent.
No building cities over, or moving of fortification units.
No 'airfileds as railroads' techniques.
No frieghters as unlim move links
Must use standard RF1.4 rules and events files.
Stavka members can command a front but ministers cannot.

I assume our glorious leader meant that KIEV held rather than Minsk.
EZRhino eep .bmp files are rather large, I can feel my 56k modem as I type this!
Still our key cities are holding thats good news and General Winter is brushing off his uniform as we speak!

Comrades, I believe the areas to worry about are as follows:
The area north of Demyansk and south of Novogorad. Now that Kholm has fell Im worried about the Facists sneaking in there
The battle for Perekop and Rostov I believe is about to begin. (It started in a small way last turn.)
Shore up Leningrad defenses.
Any other major concerns?
If we can hold them west and north of the Sevastapol-Don River to Lenningrad line I believe we will win. (That includes Smolensk)

I'm worried about Smolensk and Vitebesk, our defenses seem thin there still, and with the coming of winter I believe that the road multiplyer becomes smaller and we will have a harder time moving troops forward.

Your correct H. There is no road bonus really. And the surrounding terrain becomes in some cases virtually impassable.
However the movement points of our units changes and I think generally our units have more movement than the Fascist pigs!
Plus we have free airlift (Since planes can't conduct combat there is no interception!). And some units are close to being done in the Urals plus our Siberian friends arrive.
It will be close however, I think Vitebsk is toast but we might have a chance in Smolensk.
Comrade Pavlov has certainly done a great job in the Belorussian Front thus far.
Im thinking its about time to deepen the fronts what do you think?

here it is, the proud citizens of Kiev are still holding the city for the motherland
the other cities of the front are also still resisting, bryansk has been reconquered, the 1st Ukrainian front stays the same way it was the first day
preparing for the winter time, If I still have Orel, Kursk, Belgorod and Kharkov the ai is going to have problems in winter

Internal Party Memo
To All Front Commanders
From Minister of Information and Propaganda
The Minister of Information and Propaganda, Comrade Comissar Alsahafsky, will extend this request to all front commanders to take screenshots of major offensive or significant military operations (the more units you can cram in a screenshot the better) for documentation reasons so that the legacy of the people may be maintained and our proud history as revolutionaries may be immortalised in the pages of the Workers' newspaper.
With great and extended gratitude, and wishing the best of health and luck to all commanders,
Comrade Comissar Alsahafsky
