2000BC - Matters of discussion
I have no idea where the Ministers are, or even if they have received the save. No-one has contacted me or posted anywhere bout it, so I can only assume they are all away somewhere.
There are a few things that need discussion before I can play any more. These are:
1. What do we do with the recently found NONE settler?
2. Who do we disband from Imperialis?
3. Where do we start our new city(ies)?
4. What do our cities build once a settler has come from each?
In order to kick off this discussion:
I think we should use this NONE settler to start improving terrain with roads around Imperialis. Perhaps a road leading to all the cities (except Glorificus)..?
We should disband the Warrior in Imperialis and move an Archer back there for defence. After all, Imperialis IS our capital and thus worth of a Capital Guard. That way we get some shields back from the disbanding too.
New cities should start reasonably close to the old ones with some overlap, positioned in the grassy areas to the North and South of our core cities. That grass is nice. Nothing more specific until I can get home and look at the save again.
Build settlers until most of the goodness around is filled and we have a few on work detail for roads etc. Then switch to Temples to enable some growth. Depending on when we locate other civs, build a barracks or two and build a small army.
Any more ideas...?
These are things that need to be discussed and upon which a consensus must be reached before any continuation of the game, which I had hoped to play within 48 hours!

didn't get any save or anything...
I'm going to do some cut/past work with the maps and see what I can do.But i'm affraid I will need at least a list with our units and their relation to our cities(were are the possitioned and where are they homed) this should suffice for me to do some polling...you can PM me with this info...I'll put up a poll in 10h from now no matter what.

we need those trade arrows for some coinage and a little happiness booster.
as to the presidents 4 questions...
#1 Make use of this valuable comodity, build terrain improvements.
#2 Definatly the Warrior.
#3 I think we need to find out where some possible "hiddne specials" may be. then decide on some sepecific locations. In general however the river running thru Glorificus would make a great place for some begining cities as well as the NW of Majestica near those many ponds. One location that stands out in my eye is SW of Alexandria, a grassw/shield with furs and spice specials.
#4 wait and see how the game unfolds.

Well...
Keep going for Monarchy. After that go for anything that will help us to Crusaders. Then on to Gunpowder...
That's all I can tell for now, until I get more saves...

Build a city with the NON-settler, it greatly increases our chances of other nomads/tribes.

1. What do we do with the recently found NONE settler?
2. Who do we disband from Imperialis?
3. Where do we start our new city(ies)?
4. What do our cities build once a settler has come from each?
1. Build a city on the river, so that we can use the river for trade bonuses. Place the city exactly 3 squares due north of the current settler's location, so that we can work two decent trade specials.
2. Disband the warrior, and move the Archer back to the home city, since he is no longer useful for exploration.
3. New city site suggestions.
Bearing in mind unhappiness provoked by our despotism,
a) East of Dominion, so that we work the gold and oil.
b) NE of Glorificus, to work the Furs on the River.
c) NE of Dominion to work the Gold and Iron.
d) SE of Pax Apolyton, on the trees, to work both the Spice and furs.
e) N of Majestica, to work the Gold.
f) Eventually, build by the horseman to the north, again working the Gold square.
4. Seeing as no Wonders are available, more Settlers or horsemen, as the need arises.

No save again-something wrong with your e-mailer, MWIA?
Anyway, I can't very well get a poll up without a save, so...build cities to fill in the gaps, and 1/2 horses/1/2 settlers in cities ...unless they need improvements ...or martial law ...which I don't know ...b/c I don't have a save... :/

/me is getting annoyed
My emailer can certainly handle files of that save sent off to people... maybe it just can't handle sending to everyone at once.
I'll try to send the save to everyone ONE AT A TIME and see if that works. As I'm doing that now, I'd appreicate it if eceryone could let me know if they get/don't get the save in the next few hours, or whenever you're next online.
Cheers.

I would hope anyone taking on a ministers role would check in every day and thus be able to let the president know of such problems quickly

the save has arrived nicely thank you.
maybe next round you could post a message as soon as you have send the saves, this would make it easier for us to know if the save didn't get through or you just didn't had the time to send it.
On the other hand , we ministers, as perfect as we are, are smart enough to post poll's without the save on our HD

MWIA - If the files are getting through sent one at a time, it sounds like *something* is odd with your email program. We've always been able to send a file to multiple addresses before, and I'm pretty certain that you have in the past.
Could it be due to some new security program you have added recently? Are there any viruses that could do that?

use the nomad for a city, its a waste to use him to improve terrain, we have less chance of other nomads..
build on the rivers.....lets get some better defence and money coming in..not too mention trade

How large is a PM allowed to be?
Could one conceivably send the save via PM?
