Any good games made in French?
After seeing thread on localization, this question occured to me, especially in view of notable games from Germany and Sweden.

There were notable games from Germany and Sweden? Are you talking PC or platform? I'm no expert either way, but I didn't know any part of Europe was a big hit in the gaming world.

I don't know of any French or German games, but there seem to be an increasing amount of good games coming out of Eastern/Northern Europe in the last few years:
Max Payne (Finnish), Hitman (Danish), Europa Universalis/Hearts Of Iron/Battlefield 1942 (Swedish), Serious Sam (Croatian), Operation Flash Point (Czech? or Hungarian) The Longest Journey (Norwegian), ....

I was thinking 1602AD - 1503 series for Germany, and of course EU for Sweden. Thiinking PC, and mainly thinking strategy.

It like asking if there have been any decent French military triumphs

I remember seeing a couple games from France that looked interesting a long time ago, but the names escape me... (Might of been Warrior King, and a couple others from the same company)
And there's a MMORPG in development from a french developer, Dark and Light.

Do French-Canadian games count? I seem to recall a good board game in the 70's called 4000AD.
(I must admit I was tempted to toss in a random anti-French comment but I just remembered something intelligent to say ).
