yes, greece is a truly remarkable place...
Your cities must visually look sooo interesting. Interesting like a stalinist hotel...

what? for real there's houses that are not brick? I dont think I've ever not seen a brick house... every single house, rowhome, and apartment building in philly is made out of brick except for maybe some of the downtown sky-scrapers
This is your problem. Everything you think is related to your own little world. Philly is one of the suckiest cities on earth...definitely in America...so why you would judge your politics or perception by it is beyond me.

Yes but we are currently building superhighways (as in civ) so our landscape is definitely becoming more and more concrete but even more so californian rather than stalinist...

Next in the queue is a colosseum, btw...

have you discovered Electronics yet? Let's try to make 4 Athenians happy, rather than just 3...unless of course you'd like to quit your day job and dress up as Elvis

There are also hollow bricks. You can always put a layer of insulation and a dry wall as well.

Can't be more boring than any US suburban areas. Man, those places are just downright dreadful.

I don't know, some of those little island towns are quite visually stunning.
