Uh, well I've never seen this one on apolyton before, and I've registered quite some time ago already...

Well that's your opinion, I found the questions quite good and to the point actually.

that link you gave me is worth crap but I guess we all knew that already.

While we are discussing this, could someone explain whether:

"Some people are naturally unlucky."

means that:

A) "Some people are talented but have been left in the lurch by luck. It's a no-brainer to see that we need to invest in helping them get back on their feet."
B) "Some people cannot be helped with any amount of money because they are luckless and forever in the dumps. Paying them welfare would be throwing good money after bad."

I've been going with interpretation A every time.

Stefu is right, you know...

We've done this 'test' before... demographics show that every time, at least 7/10 are leftists and 4/5 are liberals...

EDIT: I didn't knew that the test was updated before this. Let's see if the results are different now...

They also added a chart where they plotted the points of todays world leaders. Check out where George Bush, Ariel Sharon, and Yasser Arafat are.

They really have changed some of those questions, and rather drastically, I might add.

The first thing I noticed is that they replaced the "Surely the Jews have to take some responsibility for their persecution over the years" with the "Military action that violates international law is sometimes necessary". Those are completely different questions.

They've also tweaked some questions to totally change their meaning, IMO. The one about the one party state is now an entirely different question - before, the statement was that a one party state is better because it avoids some of the political bickering, now it is an advantage of the one party state is..... What a stupid change. Of course that is an advantage, but it doesn't mean that you think the system as a whole is better.

I'm still very centrist, BTW:

Actually here I was just thinking of some patients my dad has (he's a cardiologist) that are sooo unlucky... while some people have a cold every now and then, those people have a tumor, heartattacks, and other horrible injuries and diseases one after the other.... now that's being unlucky, I wasn't really thinking politically or something...

I agreed there

I think that if the people I see as really rightwing authoritarians post here that would change a big deal... I don't see an imran or dinodoc posting their results
if more leftists fill in this test, as a result there will be more left/libertarian scores

Thats odd since I consider myself conservative and vote republican 90% of the time, 100% in presidential elections. Maybe I'm softening up, more likely is that the questions about corporations are worded to make you distrust them.
