Contact was kind of interesting
sleepwalkers was abosulte crap
Also I should note Freeway 2. The first one was good with Reese Witherspoon. The second one was perhaps the most disturbing filmaking I have ever seen. Although I hear there is a new artsy movie out today with a 9 minute anal rape scene called Irreversible. I haven't seen it, but that movie may take the award for most disturbing filmaking.

Boys Don't Cry is also disturbing, if I got the name correct.

Yes I agree with Tass for twice I think it is. Lightning does strike twice. I'm becoming concerned for my mental health now.

Yes Battlefield Earth did suck quite a lot. For the first 30 minutes I was expecting it to stop sucking but it never did.

The Order.
A movie so great that it was released straight to video, bypassing the cinemas entirely.

Well, let's see. The aliens' entire plan of conquest is to wander around from house to house, naked and unarmed, beating the crap out of people? Could they have been LESS organized or effective?
And water acts like acid to them? I guess their scouts were too busy making amusing patterns in cornfields and anal-probing the locals to pick up on the fact that 70% of Earth is covered in water and that WATER FALLS FROM THE SKY here. Essentially, this planet is Hell to them, and yet they decide to wander around buck naked and harass a bunch of Pennsylvania crackers. How did these idiots ever build spaceships?
When the credits rolled, I turned to the people I saw this movie with and said, "Worst planned alien invasion EVER."

Ist nearly as stupid as making your spaceships windows compatible

Well, be fair, it was Mac-compatible rather than Windows compatible. And Goldblum did have a whole day to figure out the alien language and write the virus, so I found it perfectly believable.

I'll probably get reamed for this, but Pearl Harbor. It's not just that it was bad, but doubly worse in that it wasted so much potential.

I'm surprised Texas Chainsaw Massacre or the Friday the 13th sequels didn't get mentioned.
Attack of the Killer Tomatos still has to top the list, since it wasn't intended to be that funny.
Another classic is The Blob. Amazing it didn't bury Steve McQueen's career.

All of those are bad in a fun way - you know, all your friends come over for drinking games.
Almost forgot "Attack of the Clones" with that lame Sonic the Hedgehog-esque scene in a supposed robot factory. Someone tell Lucas that video games are to be played - not watched.

Hey! I remember when Bucharoo Banzai was cool.
As to my vote... Kentucky Fried Movie or Gummo are both candidates for the worst movie ever though I have to admite I am a poor judge. I find most bad movies to be funny and love them when everyone else is busy through things at the screen.

I had completely forgotten about the Crow 2 (mercifully). A movie I should have walked out on.
I don't know about Bones though, I think tht movie might fall into the bad camp category. I got a kick out of it.

Yep, I should have walked out on the Crow 2 also.
The only movies I have ever walked out on are:
Dumb and Dumber
Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Musketeer also sucked horribly.
 ACK!

I don't know why everyone is so down on Independence Day. It's perfectly accurate. Simply connecting a Mac to any network anywhere in the universe will instantly cause the network to crash. You don't even need a virus.
"Stuck on You" looks like it will be pretty awful.
