I'd be willing to try Foreign Relations, because I'm a big fat know-it-all.

Just regarding the names of the positions - personally, I'd prefer the title 'Dean of Geopolitics' or something similar, rather than "Football Manager"; how the hell am I supposed to write up serious strategic reviews as a sports coach?

Whoops, didn't see this. You can do Foreign Affairs if you like.

Since no one else has stepped up as a candidate for the Science position, I suppose I can say I'm taking the position. If anyone else does want to be our Science Advisor, just say the word.
At the moment, I'm working on a post summarizing our technology options and where we can go in the next few turns. Hope it'll prove useful.

Okay then, what I've got ATM is......
Faculty Board
Dean: Archaic
Chancellor: GeneralTacticus
Geopolitics: GeneralTacticus
Exchanges Officer: Mr. President
Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations: Tassadar5000
- Associate Professor to the school of Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations: History Guy
Social Sciences: Archaic
Pure Sciences: AdamTG02
And I'm thinking we may as well ditch that last position and decide those things as a group, since we're all going to have conflicting desires there and they'll need discussion.

I'm a very crude DG player (this is the first one where I'm trying to be more active, so don't be mislead by the "A" symbol on the left ), so I'd like to be just another citizen, contributing to the debates but not pursuing any active leadership.

Public Relations, eh? Advertising? Jolly good. Except, I suppose my job doesn't really get going until later. I'll oversee some bits where outside advertising is concerned, of course. We'll see about what we can do, eh what?

It's starting to be glaringly obvious that we're going to require a 3rd people to be allowed to play the turns.....who wants the job?

I'd be willing to do it at 36+ h if there was a somewhat definite development plan in place. It's easy enough now, but soon enough there will be lots of nitty, gritty terraforming and base-build decisions to be made - and I'm not really a builder.

These positions have changed significantly since the University's founding. I am not one of the Dean's personal staff and cannot speak for him, but in the interests of record-keeping, I thought I'd post our current leadership. This is not an official pronouncement. That said, we seem to have:
Dean: Archaic
Chancellor: GeneralTacticus
Third turnplayer (Rector? Comptroller?): Minute Mirage
Geopolitics Chair (military): GeneralTacticus
Exchange Officer (diplomacy): vacant until Crimson Sunrise returns or someone else is appointed
- Acting Exchange Officer: Dean Archaic
Social Sciences Chair (SE/terraforming): Archaic
Pure Sciences Chair (research): AdamTG02
Industrial Sciences Chair (base production): Minute Mirage
(This position was never specifically named, but I figure that name is as good as any.)
Minute Mirage, before anyone takes my word as gospel, what name would you like for your positions?
Hope this clears things up for some of our newer members.

I would be interested in
Social Sciences Chair
Campus Expansion and Planning Chair
if vacencies needed filled
I'll take over temporarily as Diplomacy Officer if needed.
I'd also like to be head of internal affairs in the PUT.
Theres no such thing as unethical research BTW, it's unethical to ignore progress.
