The Viking Taverna
Röde Orm - Serving you the worst mead in Midgård
Home of the Illiterates, birthplace of the Berserks..
This is where you tell stories of battles you been in, villages you plundered and voyages you undertaken while you enjoy the worst mead in Midgård. Or you dont got any experiences you can brag about? Well, why not tell your not-so-enlighten friends some viking mythology.
Tell them about when Odin and his brothers killed the giant Ymer and how the world was created by his corpse.. tell them about the cold and icy Nifelhem or the giant snake Nidhög and the world tree Yggdrasil.
So if you have any stories of any kind please submit them here :-)
We also sell flugsvamp to any berserks intressted.

Well Berserks were said to hold special powers in battle but the truth is propably that they ate poisious mushrooms that made them go crazy and rush fearless against enemy lines (ofc if someone miraculasly surrivied the rush there was a chance he would die by the poision.) Flugsvamp is the swedish name for one of thoose mushrooms..

Hey, whadda ya know? I start mentioning flugsvamp, and now everyone's chomping it! Peace, man.
Ymer was quite a giant, I will say that, but did you ever see Audhumbla? Now, she's the most interesting character in all Norse mythology! Everyone fears and admires Audhumbla...
Hey, I was just at a battle the other day...Iznik, got a lot of notches on my battleaxe. Pull up a chair and I'll tell you about how I removed the head of an Ottoman general, and ran his aide through with the wooden bit, and...
Oh, yeah, flugsvamp, fries on the side. And a good mead.

Heck, but if we make Ottomans high with our secret weapon, that gives them equal chances!
Luckily, though, I could package the stuff and make a trade out of it in Scandinavia. That's it! We need a business. Historik Flugsvamp Enterprises!

Sorry, no doughnuts. Only doughnut holes from the bakery next door. Of course, IMHO the best are the jelly.

And this flugsvamp talk is bah, what can I say, talk! We go Bersekr in battle tahnks to the power of our gods! You call in Tyr or Thor or Odin and rage towards the enemy... and those who say it doesn´t works, well, take a look at what happened at Iznik? What do you guess that was , ´´random generation of battle results´´ ? HAH, that is a lie
