Names of bases, weapons and our landmarks
Not too crucial as we can always change afterwards. So some suggestions for our starting bases and starting units. The default first base is Sea Haven but of course it doesn't have to be. Gunsloop?
It might be good to have a degree of uniformity( pirate links) but then again it can be fun to have your own identity and interests displayed. Or indeed something simply funny.
So ideas.
Also post ideas and names for Taverns and if possible their use (nominal).
A famous Irish one is Dirty Nellies ( Strategy and Diplomacy)
or Captain Blackbeards Inn.( War and Peace, attack and defence, spying)
or Grace O' Malley's Emporium (fine wines, l3wting and treasure chests).
Lloyd's Chronicle ( our private newspaper). or Black Barts's News?

Light ships: Caravel, Balsa, Sloop, Pinnace
Medium ships: Carrack, Nao, Brigantine, Xebec
Heavy ships: Galleon, Galeass, Frigate
Privateers for probe teams 
I'm at a loss about what to call other land based units....
Some port names: Circular Quay, Byron Bay, Port Jackson, pretty much any Caribbean isle/port, Veracruz, Ceylon, Ternate, Madeira (a port named after...port!  ), Timbuktu, Valencia, Maracaibo, Pernambuco...y'know any coastal city/bay would probably work (in case anyone has a favorite sea place!  )
How about Crux Australis (Southern Cross) for the capital? And I must insist on a Margaritaville

Maybe even terraform some fungus around our territory in strategic locations... hide an attack vessel there... each of the spots could be arranged in a semi-triangle...
And Googlie, IMHO you're welcome aboard any time.
I can see a Port Valkyrie in my suggestions future.

Ahoy maties, we are about to build our first sea ports. Port Royal was the main pirate port in the Carribean.
However how about Port Peace (or variation) for HQ. After that each pirate can suggest a (non clan) name for the next 9 bases. After that we're into clan regions I guess.
Anyhow submit one HQ name (specify HQ) and two names for other bases. One your own suggestd name and one from Googlie's list (tribute) and we'll poll HQ and the top 14.
However if you have another proposal that's fine (so says Jason my parrot)
