Anyone interested in Imperium Romanum PBEM?
Ok, as you´ve read I would like to know if anyone else want to play a little Imperium Romanum PBEM .... IMHO one of the best scenarios out there.
The version would be 2.2, the civs:
Rome -
Macedonia -
Phoenicia (Karthago/Carthage) -
Persia -
Egypt -
Anyone else? I would like to take Carthage or Macedonia, so: SIGN UP!

What event files will you use though?
As I recall they're tailored for the invdividual civs...

Ok folks, the civ playing list:
Rome - myself
[Independents] - not to be played
Phoenicia (Karthago/Carthage) - FiGu
Egypt - yop73
Persia -
[Greece] - not to be played
Macedonia - academia
One thing mentioned by Henrik: Which Events.txt shall Persia/Egypt take? Any an idea?

Doesn't work like that, you need to settle for one file that everyone must use if you are to play MP...

Ok, let´s do so. Which events we are going to take? Rome, Macedonia and Carthage have their own event files, so which events Persia and Egypt shall take?
And the updated participant list:
Rome - myself
[Independents] - not to be played
Phoenicia (Karthago/Carthage) - FiGu
Egypt - yop73
Persia - yaroslav
[Greece] - not to be played
Macedonia - academia

I use the one for the Romans, maybe we should split this game into two having only the 3 major civs (Rome, Carthage, Macedonia) playable. I´ll send an eMail to Bebro this weekend, ok?

jim, I think that the Phoenic should be human-controlled, so I believe that either Yop or me should jump into figu's hole

Yea, i agree with yaros.
Carthage is way too important in this scenario On the other hand, Egypt doesn´t play a key role here... so, in my opinion Yop should take Figu´s place.

Carthage ships continue the patrols of the seas. Soldiers train. Citizens of the great empire continue their days making money and being merry. All is well in the Carthage empire.
The Carthage Senate is concern about the barbarians to the south of us and in Hispania. A new army is commisioned to subdue this small problem.
The Senate of Carthage sends out diplomates to the western seas to acknowledge the new First Consul Civfan Opantious.
Civfan Opantious begins his 5 year term today and has made diplomatic overturns to create free trade among the eastern and western kingdoms, republics and empires.
