Apologies for turns delay
Apologies once again for delaying play. At first it was because of the (hopefully now resolved) problem of getting the save to the Ministers. This week is my graduation week, and as you can imagine there is a lot of rigmarole associated with it. On top of that, my ISP refuses a connection the night I am free!
This is not an excuse, but an explanation - I will next be able to play turns Saturday evening my time = Early Saturday morning/Friday night Europe/America time.
I understand this is less than ideal and I'm sorry this keeps happening. Don't worry - soon enough will be nominations for the next term, and they will do better than me!
Cheers for your patience.
WIA

Does this graduation mean you are being tossed into the real world, or is there further education to play around with?

His name has under it "PhD research" so I'm assuming he's entering the real world...

Eh, I don't think he would be graduating if he had failed the graduation exam...but maybe you have a better idea of the Australian educational system than I do.

New Zealand is not part of Australia just yet.
Please Mr President can you play some turns as quickly as your real life allows.

The joke about graduation is that you do graduate before your exam status is known.
Though I am sure MWiA has been a disciplined, diligent student.

/me sighs deeply
Well, it seems I have to apologise again. I have not been online since about Thursday because my ISP would not allow the connection. I have since got the problems fixed, but in the meantime nothing has happened gamewise. Furthermore I can't be sure that I will be able to play for the rest of the week that the term has, as New Zealand is facing a severe power crisis. It is likely that enforced power outages will start soon, so I can't even be sure of having power enough for the computer.
As a reult, I have decided I am too unreliable to stay on as effective President. I am not resigning at this late hour, but I have asked 123john if we would take over for any turns to play this last week.
Sorry to all for this disappointing end to a somewhat frustrating Term.

We'll be fine if he takes after his Canadian ancestors, and settles on some nice prairie grassland.
About time we had another Canadian president.
