I'll agree to that. That's techs sorted. I would like to play with the original rules. I only objected to "fair trades".
I'll even promise not to whore Sir Ralph's techs,
What about war? I'll obviously agree to no long term alliances. But I still think being able to offer future support is vital to changing alliances. So are any communication restrictions going to be in force on that?

No communication restrictions whatsoever, except to mention a tech that you don't have. I think this is the simplest solution, and I updated the initial post. Dominae, you're the only one who hasn't spoken about the the latest rules. Is it OK with you?
Enter alliances at will, but know that your ally will not feel obligated to stay on your side forever, no matter what he tells you!

Well, it wasn't a rule proposal at all, it rather was an announcement, how I will behave myself in this game. Nobody should feel bound to it.
Perhaps somebody can collect all the valid rules (should be not much) out of the numerous proposals and counter-proposals? After all agreed to it, we can get started. Since this one is already polluted, I propose to start a new turntracker thread.

Sorry to slow the game before it barely gets started, but I'll be civless this weekend. I'm leaving Saturday morning (I'll play my turn if it's there really early), and I'll be back on Monday evening.

My mailprovider is fvcked up and treats all incoming and outgoing mails as viruses. I had to get yours out of the folder "Virus suspected", and at the same place ended mine.
