Me too, I have not read any of the Dickens books, and only read Jane Austen relatively recently (and was surprised how funny it was).

I had to read "Far From the Madding Crowd" at school, and it nearly killed me it was so dull.

They used to get us to read a chapter before the next lesson. It's impossible for me to read that slowly.

That said To Kill a Mockingbird was still excellent, despite me reading it as part of a school thing.

I don't like Dickens at all though.

Oh god. I have no idea. Lord of the Flies probably, that had a huge impact on me when I read that as a kid. There are probably books that aren't on the list too but I'm being blinded by the ones on there.
