Annika - It has started.
Annika has just teed off. The USA Network has changed their live coverage to include televising all 18 holes that she will play.
She hit it well off the first tee, and just sent a nice iron shot into the first green. She has a reasonable birdie put for her first hole.

She kind of wimped out on her first put... And took a par on the first hole.
It looks like she can barely breath...
Hopefully she will settle in and start to relax...

She'll break 80. I'll predict 71. Any other predictions?

She just got a par on the second (600 yard par 5)...
Even par after 2 GO ANNIKA!
She's had reasonable shots at birdie so far... she still looks a little "tight" with her putter.
Next a tough par 4... 433 yards.

Only two days to make the cut though?
Anyway, I heard conditions were wet. Does this work in her favor?

Don't know her game or the course well enough to make a prediction, but I'm watching with great interest. Go Annika!

Another mens competition sacrificed to feminism. Coverage of her every move throughout the competition, great. Might as well watch the LPGA.
If they do this crap too much, when the novelty wears off the ratings will dive, and there will be 2 LPGAs.
I don't care what she scores, either way.
Can male golfers play in the LPGA? I'd think that the guys that are good but can't win on the PGA could clean up on the LPGA.

The PGA isn't a designated men's league. It's for Professional Golfers. If she qualifies and can play at their level, she has every right to play in the PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS ASSOCIATION.
The question I have is, "Can she compete at that level?".
We shall see. But you are wrong to think that the PGA is a mens-only league.
If a woman could bat .300 and hit 30+ Home Runs in the MLB, you bet your ass George Steinbrenner would sign her.

Another Par on the third hole.
All three of her birdie puts have been short of the hole... Ya think she's feeling the preasure
And Lancer... while the PGA has no rules against a woman playing... The LPGA has a rule that you "must be born a female" to compete on the LPGA tour.

I'm assuming par is 72. So your response doesn't make any sense.

Mike, you must admit it's been downhill ever since.
Just kidding, only citizens should have the vote, and only those who serve the nation should be citizens. Since women can serve in non combat roles, that doesn't exclude them It does exclude the ultra rich, too good to serve cling-ons. It also gives the heave ho to the do nothing ultra pansy left.
