Just making sure....both our bases besides the HQ are on the 2-1-2 tiles, correct?
Anyway, what shall we build at Uni base? The way I see it, we have 2 options. Either a Colony Pod which would move south to settle, or a Rec Commons.

If we're planning on going for the VW, Rec Commons. We'll be at Ind. Auto quite fast, and it would be nice if we could prepare matters for building it without worrying so much about Drone problems.

Ok... I suppose that moving the eastern scout to southeast (3) intends to take advantage of the river that is running there... I had thought about moving it directly to east (6), but that was before I noticed the river.
And we can clearly see that there is an isthmus at the south portion of the map, it seems interesting.
We should build rec commons at the University Base; after all, we're going for the VW, aren't we?
What will we do with the former that was produced in University Base? We should discuss that now. The first former actions are essential to give us the well-known turn advantage...

Given what Googlie told us about how he builds maps whe should check that isthmus really is an isthmus before we jump to conclusions
Agree on the scout moves. I'd rather expand than anti-drone right now, but I think I'll safely leave the build order to senior faculty.
And yes, where's that former?

That's Archaic's field (both in terms of position and in terms of what he seems to be good at).

Um... hello? We need to figure out what to do with that former ASAP so we cna play the turn before the time limit runs out (if it hasn't already...) Maybe we should start issuing next turn roder in advance.

Indeed we probably should. Sorry about not replying earlier. I'm at Uni today and probably until late tonight working on my final assignment for the semester.
But in any case, I've posted my recommendations in the terraforming thread.

As I said in the exploration thread:
The southern scout has to pop the new pod, IMO.
The northern scout could follow the river to the West (4).
The eastern scout could go north (8) or northeast (9).
I noticed that Datajack Roze is the leader in tech... does this represent any danger to our plans?

I think it's only because she starts with 2 techs, one of which is a level 2 tech (you have 2 but both level 1's), as do the Pirates, and I believe the tie-breaker algorithm is research points per turn, where the Angels out-research the Pirates considerably.
Next turn you should take the lead as your third tech kicks in - unless she gets a tech that turn too (I don't think she'll have met anyone and probed them yet - it's a bit early in the game even for her long striding probe team
