What? i thought a Front Commander is more "important" than the Politburo. He defends the country and fights, while the politburo member sit behind his desk and drink coffee and reads some papers.
And i didn't plan a assasination. i respect the politics.

Front commanders are replaceable! To the Gulag with him! Trying to kill a MP (member of Politburo ) is already bad enough, but now he also says we do nothing! We work every day from dawn till dusk, and you say we only drink coffee and read papers! We have to write them ourselves (we have comrade Alsahafsky for that) plus we have to check on people like you you know how much work THAT is?

PS You see, only one person has been sent to Camp Disobedience, I threaten a lot, but I haven't actually send somebody yet! As they say, barking dogs don't bite (=> translation: it's not from me you have to be afraid, but from others here )

WOW! How is this possible?! I can't believe we are walloping the Germans this badly. Hopefully our UMIP is running smoothly so these temporary gains don't lull us into a false sense of security

If you're fast enough, you could take care of Germany, too.
I think they might give you a medal for that...

[OFFICIAL MODERATOR VOICE]
Cut down on the spamming, OR ELSE.
Threatening people with the Gulag is spamming and will be punished.
This thread is for the explicit posting of grand strategy, involving multiple front attack plans, the shifting of units from one front to another, etc, etc. Everything else will be considered spam and delt with.
One liners will not be looked upon kindly either. Some people are trying to formulate grand strategy and have started complaining about the amount of spam they have to sort through.
No more warnings, this is it.

moderator voice...hehe, nice trick
OK, so let's say the North-West Front launches this talked about offensive and we seize Riga: will this really help out the Baltic Front? (One I think of the main objectives in launching this attack) Yes it will cut off German troops from East Prussia and give a safe nothern area to Moscow, but will it really stop reinforcements? What I am saying is, are there really German reinforcements moving against the Baltic Front as we speak or have they just stopped moving up to the front lines for some inexplicable reason.
Also, we still haven't seen the full force of this German summer offensive, so is it really a good idea to launch this many offensives or any at all? If something goes wrong on one of the fronts, we need to be able to transfer reinforcements from one commander to another and this may be hard if we are all trying to push forward against the Germans. Also we need to see how the winter goes, as well as the fact we are all forgetting about Operation Citadel next summer: the Germans if we push too far IIRC will end up appearing behind our front line units!
Just food for thought.

Good points. I'd say work out a plan that we can "pull off the shelf" if we need it, but don't launch it yet; wait and see how the Southern front holds up agaisnt Operation Blue, and if we can spare the resorcces/units for an attack. Could we get some ariel reconisance of the target area to find out the troop conentrations?
