Are you a Brian Eno fan? My mom had a yamaha dx7 which I had hoped to get when she passed away. Unfortunately it was a gift from my sister, and her husband scooped it up and is enjoying it now.

eno is great. im actually saving my money up for a software recreation of the DX7 made by native instruments (http://www.nativeinstruments.de). it sounds lovely, and allows for more programming ability than the DX7 could on its small little LCD screen.

i was always hoping that i had an uncle or aunt somewhere that was into early analog synths (or in the case of the DX7 FM synth) just so i could get the goodies now. unfortunately my family hasnt had a musical bone in their body.
