I just picked up Vice City (and beat it). Now I need GTA3 .
After that back to RPGs (Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind, probably).... or maybe I'll try out Rise of Nations (though I HATE RTS, and I'll maybe wait until it's cheap).

If you keep playing when you are bored of it, then you have bigger problems than computer games .

Variety is the spice of life. Try a genre that you haven't played for a while.
Then again, I am fairly sick of games too at the moment. Too much free time.

I like RTS... but it's got to be a good game. Starcraft is my all time favorite. And IMO, still the best RTS out there. I might try RoN, but it sounds like its another EE-clone, but just with a board-game aspect.

Imran:
I was playing Alpha Centauri and I got bored but instead of exiting, i decided to fool around and try to get the whole map to be covered in water (planet busters, eco-damage, and have the water level rise through the council)... spent an hour doing that... don't know why.
thanks

Well the fooling around didn't bore you, did it? You had fun doing it! You didn't go do something you thought was boring, so what's the problem?!

Starcraft... still the best RTS out there.
Heresy! Total Annihilation has never been dethroned.:P
Only Warlords Battlecry II has come close; Kohan should get mentioned at this point for innovativeness.

Now? When were they ever that different?
Though, in all seriousness, RPGs aren't really the same as action titles, though they may share some similarities.

Play Vietcong to get your blood racing.. First Person shooter.. you get to blast away commies.. I love it. The best line from that game "No more VC" and "All VC KIA."

I wouldn't say Morrowind and the upcoming Lionheart are going to have similar gameplay. Lionheart doesn't seem to have the cliche, either .

No.
The demo is where you start with a marine team and you go through a jungle shooting VC.

Really so there's more than one Vietnam war era first person shooter? I'm really surprised... that one i played was a little aged but wasn't too bad. hard as **** fighting the vietcong in their tunnels though especially without no explosives.

If you think that one is tough wait till you play that one I specified.. There are a few bugs.. but it is overall an excellent game. Expect a patch file soon.
