Night on the town sounds good. Anyone here London regular, and know decent pubs/clubs? We could try the London Eye, although not sure if it's worth it?

Well, seeing who else is coming/considering to come, I would certainly seriously consider joining the fun... But I'd need to make travel and accomodation arrangements, so I need to know time/date well in advance (hmm, maybe Zop and I could travel together?)

I hate clubbing, always have. I've been to a few London clubs on the insistence of friends, but after I got dragged by a friend to one that appeared to only play death metal I vowed never to be dragged clubbing again.

Locutus: As I said, I don't have the exact dates on which I will be available. All I know is that this will be between the 3rd, and the 9th.

Azazel,
So you'll only know 1 or 2 days in advance? I'm afraid that won't do me or (probably) Zop any good. And I'd expect most of the British folks have a life as well, and would like to be able to plan this to some extent...

If nothing else so we know which evenings to go to bed before 3am to get up in time for the train.

Saturday's are generally preferable. So the 9th in this case.

Hm, OK, but I don't know if Azazel leaves on the 9th or not. If he leaves during the day on Saturday, we might need to shift to Friday.

I can't remember the name of the club, but it wasn't far from Soho. We stopped off in The Intrepid Fox (? - something to do with a fox at any rate) beforehand. If you like metal then you'd probably like that pub.
Not my scene though.

Friday 8th sounds good.
Clubbing in London has the advantage of being able to remember it easier, being less booze (due to price). And anyway, it should be done once, it's quite different to anywhere else IMHO, even if it is expensive.
Breezers are girly drinks (look at the FHM "how girly is your drink" chart ) but why does that matter? Personally I prefer spirits, but they're good for dancing with (can't have pints or shots for that).
Anyways, we could go out in London, and decide depending on whos there whether to go club/pub or even cinema (big leister square cinemas) if people want.
