Don't you find it a bit inaccessable in the winter though?
(and the rest of the year for that matter)

You just need the right equipment, but just be careful not to get lost down one of the crevices...

I've just realised that by next weekend I'll have been in London eight times over the last two months. Eek.

Iain loves London. Every time he leaves, he feels bad.

Hull gets me down, London is like a breath of fresh air (albeit not in the literal sense )

I know the feeling though - I find most large cities seem to suck the soul out of me and leave me feeling depressed at the state of humanity in an utterly non-specific sense.

heh. Usually there is some vague specificness of each moment. The train journey home from London allows me to reflect on the entirety.

now this is getting weird. My last three posts have given me the quotes:
Quote:
|
"Live each moment as if it is your last"
"Live each moment as if it is your last"
"Remember there is an outside world to see and enjoy"
|
I think the quote database is trying to tell me something...

Could well be.
And I'm certainly not opening that "Chinese ICBM" thread again...

Same here. I hate my home city. It is perhaps the 'thickest' city in the country and thus I feel like a square peg in a round hole, people think I am some kind of intellectual elitist whereas in other parts of the country (Oxford or London for example) it wouldn't seem anything unusual...

For me, I like the rush, the enormous buildings that you have to raise your head so high to see their top. That's why I like Tel-Aviv. with time, it has grown to be quite the city, it's hustle and bustle matching Paris, for example. The only thing it lacks is a Subway.
