I'm soo dumb! It's really annoying! I could be with you tomorrow.
My parents-in-law had a ticket for me for the Austria-Holland match today and they converted bonus-miles into a ticket for me, but for some reason I hesitated and now my brother-in-law flies!

Sorry, won't be able to do it (I know it is too late). Getting a ferry across is just to expensive...cheaper to drive to Manchester and fly...go figure

You should know... you took it =)
To get back to the meeting itself. We were rather disappointed that only five of us (Locutus, CapTVK, Germanos, Atawa, and myself) were present.
Where were the others?!

Yeah, where was the lot?
We especially had expected hueij, since he so eagerly posted his pic here
I had a good time in both the CubaCafe, the Argentian Grill, where nobody off the staff spoke Dutch, and aside from the occasional cockroach that attempted to crawl into CapTVK's collar the food was , and we enjoyed the last half of the football match in a very much so 'Amsterdam bruin cafe'. Upon entering the hole, Holland scored twice in 5 minutes or so, which lifted spirits all along the place.
When those who had to travel home left, Atawa and me went to the famed 'Hill street Blues' bar on the Warmoesstraat where we enjoyed the relaxed athmosphere.
Very wierd meeting these people you only know from the board.

Too tired to discuss the meet right now, so I'll just post some pics (CapTVK made some too, I'm sure he'll post his soon as well).
Suffice to say it was a fun meet, though a pity so few people showed up. Hueij, Lucilla, Tarquinius and the others better have a good excuse

So Cap, where are the pics?
As is traditional by now, CapTVK, Zop and I want to organize another Apolyton Meet during the HCC Dagen. This would be a good 'rematch' for those cowards who didn't show up this time
As is traditional, the Meet will be held on the evening of first day of the HCC Dagen: Friday November 28, in this case. It will be held outside the venue itself (so you don't have to worry about getting tickets or anything) and probably start around 8ish (we can establish that later). So if you want to attend a Dutch Apolyton Meet after all, keep this date/time free in your agenda
What about the location, guys? Diner 66 wasn't very suitable for meets with 4+ people, if you ask me (cramped and fixed tables/benches).

Sorry, I couldn't come. This is the 4th weekend now that I have to work overtime. My boss tends to promise our customers new software deliveries without taking into account, that it takes the developers some time to design, code, test and bug-fix it.
