What to do with the prototype Yak
This will appear near Gomel next turn and since both Colwyn and Shaka share control of Gomel this valuable resource will be fought over.

What!
Another POLL WITHOUT A BANANA OPTION!
This is heresy! It is reactionary and counter revolutionary!
I need to have my new Party Ideologist and NKVD director check into this!

Pravda demands exclusive use of the new aircraft for the personal use of the one-man-newspaper, the Comissar of Information and Propaganda, who cannot document each front and skirmish properly without his own private aircraft.

Well, I do need some vodka delivered out here, and yak's are fast aircraft.
I say give it to shaka to help in the defense of the Don cities from air attack. (That is his front, right?)

We should use it to boost morale, by dropping vodka for our troops! Give it to the front that needs this vodka the most
PS It seems many among us want the morale boost (or the vodka )

I'm not sure about gomel as the river south of it can bring up a lot of german units inc wespes(major problem) very quickly and it only takes a few JU88's to knock out a AA /KV1 quickly.
We may need the KV1 at bryansk to reinforce other sections of your front as its still near a road. If we move it to gomel it will be left in the open and may be bombed. The germans have spawned untis near bryansk before so it must be strongly garrisoned.
Lets leave gomel to itself for a turn or too and see what happens before reinforcing.

the yak
I belive it should go to our most defendable western city to take down the german aircraft.
ie Nikov
The hun are smarting at have a soviet base deep in there lines and are bound to hit it with many aircraft.
We should have a aircraft there to shoot the buggers down.
The city is well defended being built on a river and forest for a +100% defensive bonus.
What will our people think when they hear about this valient city being left without a fighter group!
Our AA crews will curse the lazyness of our fighters whilsts there guns run hot from shooting down germans.

What have we done with it? Is it flying around to boost morale, or is it being used in one of our front cities?

Assuming the role of Director of the NKVD For the Interim Authority, the perpetrators will be found and punished, this sort of sabotage will not be allowed.
So, does the Party Ideologist figure out what is wrong and what is right, and the NKVD acts on it?

What sabotage? I'm not aware of sabotage here As far as I know the Yak is first going to visit the front cities to boost morale there Once the war is over, it will fly to all other cities to inform them of our great victory! That will give us the huge boost in morale needed to conquer the world

According to our comrade Marshal it has already been shot down (together with some nice bottles of vodka ).
I would send the vodka to your front, but I haven't got a plane anymore Oh well, I will drink it myself
