True communists don't sleep! Only those with a weak ideology, or a lack of conviction in the system need sleep!

OK some more things to talk about:
1. Anzakov (Anzac's) proposed change to the government and
2. A general Strategy for the STAVKA. This is strategic! Not operational or Tactical.
Taskers:
1. Bossy 20000 as party Ideologue I want you to research Anzac's thread about changing the Polituburo and split up the different elements into a poll for each element. So we will need several polls on this. The idea being to see if any of the elements will succeed on there own and pass via popular vote.
2. Who wants to lead a discussion on Grand Strategy?
Open your own thread and we can discuss there.

All he told me is that he would be away for a few weeks in July and he prefered a more hands off approach.

Refresh my memory, are you going on Holiday again this summer? I seem to remember an absence in August. Is that correct?

Have you ever heard of the Roman Triumph? (I've been reading I Claudius and its successor novel).
Surely if those ignorant imperialists could do something grand, so can we. We send Hitler back to Moscow, and have a big parade. Lots of tanks, airplanes, soldiers marching. We bring back all the nice loot we find in Berlin (art, machinery, torn Nazi Flags) and show it off, for it now belongs to the workers. Free vodka should also be distrubuted.
Of course all the commanders of the fronts should march through the parade with a select number of troops from their front. The Politburo can come out and watch the review. HTower, being the Marshall, should have the prime vehicle of honor at the center of the procession, for he lead us to victory.
The Roman triumph also had a slave behind the succesful general, who whisphered to the triumphal man "Look behind thee: remember thyself mortal." (ooc: The Movie Patton had the slave say "All glory is fleeting). This seems a little too archaic, perhaps the modern version should be "look behind thee: remember thyself serves Comrade Stalin."
Oh, and Hitler would be dragged through the parade in chains, and executed in Red Square. Perhaps we could wheel Lenin out so Lenin can see him die.

Nope, in August I work, but I'm home in the evening and at the weekend. In September I will probably go on holiday again.

If we start looting in Germany, I would like some of the paintings you can find. I still have some walls where there is some space, and a Rubens or Van Gogh would fit nice
I also like the parade-idea, especially the part about Lenin. This way we can prove him we can beat the Germans, just to memorate him

No offense to Comrade Pavlov, but should not that position be reserved for Comrade Oleg Sorikin, our deal Marshall. (The way I see it, HTower is Zhukov, the main brains at STAVKA, while Colwyn is probably the most accomplished, and independent , of Zhukov's deputies.) But surely Comrade Pavlov should be rewarded a great position of honor, and perhaps a new medal.

The Politburo congratulates the late Comrade Pavlov on his stupendous victories. We mourn his death and encourage his son to continue by actively contributing to the political process.

We could proclaim an official "We love Comrade Pavlov day", to commemorate him! What do you think? After all, he got us into Germany and to Berlin...

Being "noticed" didn't end up too good for me after all.

How many of the 7 elected are still around? 3? 4? How can your body still function when only around 50% of you are still serving? In the best interest of the Rodina, I think that you should all renounce the remaining months of your term and hold elections immediately.
