Gee, a whole bunch of no-shows tonight.
In the meantime, the Three Wise Men contemplate the underlying psychological themes and import of last night's shenanigans:

Yeah sorry lads, crook as a rook Saturday night. Went to bed at 4pm for a nap and woke at 10.30pm.
So much for the flu shot this year.

Lives next door. I dogsit him quite a lot when they're going to be out from dawn till late. Dermott's best mate. They spend all day wrestling, with him trying to fit his head into Dermott's mouth. He goes home happy, exhausted, and soaked in Dermott slobber.

Thanks. But only one of them is loveable - the big, hairy one. The little white curly-haired one, belonging to Mrs finbar, is, in fact, an extraordinarily successful result of an experimental cross between a rat with no personality and a waste of space. In fact, it has had permanently curled hair since I jammed its paw into a live power socket.

Sorry about that, heavy head cold kicked in , I lay down while watching the Channel nine news and woke up to find Clint Eastward driving a bus through the gauntlet about midnight.
At least Mrs Hydey had put a blanket over me.

Unsurprisingly, the play opened and closed on the same night. The audience found it somewhat, um, predictable.

No, no. It's the usual - Deity and Horse scrapping like a couple of, um, mad dogs.

I just put that to him. He said: "When one of those two do, I will".
