I have a friend who actually cannot watch it for exactly that reason. As much as they admire the writing, acting and directing skills, it's too close to what they put up with at work every day. Which is probably, ironically, the series' ultimate accolade.

From a failed stand-up comic and a guy who wrote sketches for a breakfast radio show. There's hope for us yet.

We had an office ep worthy event at work today. This lunatic secretary organised a demonstration of "how to use the new photocopiers." The woman is feared and loathed by all so a gaggle of about 10 officers duly attended the presentation from the photocopy company "expert", who wore a bad wig and looked like a drunk. In fact he was a drunk. The people attending were mortified by the proceedings which lasted about an hour.
When I was told what was going on I amused myself by pulling faces at one of the attendees trying to make him laugh, walking past the group with a supercilious look my face trying to make eye contact, mimicking the presenter, that sort of thing.

Did you discover that between your 9pm and 10pm? If not, why wait another hour to post it?

Its amazing what one can do by pressing random
Horse tried to host at first but neither Makeo nor myself could connect for some reason so I tried and connection without problem and a clean start
Have you found out the problem yet Horse?

Luckily I work from home. It's only my wife who wants to rip the CD-player out of the machine.

Not while there's breath in my body.
Talk about a rash statement.

I'm going to post this on the rugby thread too - I think there's an ever so slight whiff of racism and the out-of-towner syndrome in the shellacking George and Eddy are getting.

I'm not sure about that. I think it's a typical Australian response. Remember when Steve Waugh had the bad trot? Mark Taylor? Love 'em when they're winning, crucify 'em when they're down.
