I should add that after many provocations from deity over several games I have no mercy where his civs are concerned.

When did you look at the map fin?

Hey War, you'll have to read the last bit of the last Aussie thread to get some of the back ground...

Its a bit like when someone deliberately upsets a chess board.

In Australia we call people like this pikers.
I think any reasonable interpretation of the KIng Chat would clearly show that Horse upset the chess board, called me a cheat, looked at my map to see if I was cheating and then became quietly confident...

I think the game odds are 50:50 for once in Horses life, unlike 99:1 in all the other games

So, do you think I want to play in a situation like this? Why give Horse a 50% chance for poor sportsmanship? I don't need to prove anything

Horse is to be punished and sent out to pasture for a while...
He's called me a cheat quite openly in several games so he doesn't deserve any opportunity whatsoever to win. If he was a good sport, fair and decent I wouldn't say this. If it was just the game situation alone it wouldn't be a problem; and if it was Trev or Hydey or most anyone else it wouldn't be a problem... but Horse is to be disciplined by the Gods

where did I call you a cheat?

Poor deity, if we start a new game I'll just find you again.

That would be here: KC

From Dictator Horsie (1200 B.C.): what? that you cheated?

Although the defamation lawyers might have to be consulted to decide if this is actually an accusation.

The answer was simple - what he thought was a ZOC wasn't a ZOC. Which only goes to show that you never stop learning something in this game.

And, frankly, this is getting very very boring. Yet again.

I don't think you did look at the save after the session because you disappeared offline. I'd say you looked at the save a few days later...

LOL!

Thankyou Makeo

This makes a nice change from everyone just deity bashing...

finbar of course automatically supports Horse no matter what but Makeo and Hydey and most others call situations as they see them. (Sometimes against me sometimes for me).

finished second course,
Hydey was on desert
deity hit the dirt,
and we all ended up in the courts"

Deity - choose to believe what you want. I have the ICQ log that would establish otherwise. This idiotic carry-on is incredibly boring. It has come to dominate our games recently and I honestly couldn't be bothered with it anymore. I'm taking a break from it.

OK, I needed you to do that research for me and I believe you; but for curiosity's sake would you mind posting that icq chat you had with Horse (if he permits)?

I have no problem with posting the icq chatlog.

I'll do it myself tonight if I can work out how.

I agree with finbar that the bickering got tired long ago and I have to shoulder my share of the blame for that. Being a troll I sometimes can't resist pressing deity's buttons. I've tried to break the habit but its a guilty pleasure.

For this, my heartfelt mea culpa to all players.

Anyway, it's not fair on the other players (particularly Dre_amer who is doing well) to can the game; but I'm sticking to my guns by not rewarding the colt for poor behaviour...

Keep it as a no deity game for this combo of players or maybe we can negotiate something but I'm cetainly not playing from the point of the last save.
