Caesar III. The Atkins Plan.
Since I don't want to get into trouble with Ming for three threads..
i) Caesar 3; while I'm away from university I fancy getting addicted to a computer game again.. anyone else play this?
ii) I have somehow topped 14 stones (198 lbs) while at uni, so am looking to trim about 2 stones (around 30 lbs). The Atkins Diet has helped my cousin especially. I couldn't follow it in Aber as it was too expensive, but it's a possibility back home. Anyone had any results from it?

1) Caesar III was pretty good, but I got annoyed at times by the pathfinding for the little walker guys.
2) Not I, but a couple of good friends have had good success with it. I think on of the guys here (DarthVeda?) has too.

i) Yes, the pathwalkers really pissed me off. Why can't the barbers, markets, etc have zones of influence like wells and reservoirs do?
ii) I tried looking for a thread on it as sure it has been discussed before but no luck.

I had trouble getting C3 to work on XP machines. So I gave up.
If there is an easy way to directly resolve this issue, let me know.

That's a matter of taste, literally.
I dislike regular coke, and the way it sticks to your teeth.

1. The Egyptian one (Phareoh -sp?) is more recent and a bit better.
2. What is the Atkins diet. I need to lose some weight myself.

Atkins is an amazing diet where you will never go hungry again yet still lose weight. This is not a gimmick, it has been around for decades now. Most people will lose 10-30 pounds in the first month! How do they do it? Eat all of the meat, cheese, eggs, fats (like butter and oils) as you like. No calorie counting. The trick? Eliminate carbohydrates from your diet. The amazing thing is that you will feel better mentally and physically while doing this diet. You will find that your cravings for foods will go away and comfort foods are no longer necessary. Another benefit that most people report is increased mental alertness, no more feeling sleepy after a meal! To learn more about this diet visit The Dr. Atkins Website. To see a sample induction diet and track your weight visit http://www.atkinsdietmenu.net

Pepsi Max combines the best of both. Sweetness of Coke, but without the sugarry stickiness.

Diet Pepsi has always been better, and Pepsi Max is excellent... except when you need sugar.

Sugar is an addiction, just like caffeine, alcohol or drugs. If you can't get by without it, you have a problem.

Considering how much saturated fat is in some of those protein rich foods, it doesn't sound like a very healthy diet.
You're probably better off getting protein from sources like tuna and shellfish, which are efficient sources of protein and contain oils that are beneficial for the heart and skin. Other than that, lots of veggies and whole grain.

I found that Caesar III had too many annoying flaws in it, I much prefered Zeus and Rise of the Middle Kingdom, which are essentially the same idea, only better.
