What's your start page?
How many people have Apolyton set as their start page?
I always start on this page, Google News.

Just about everyday, I come back here for something or other.

Get the google toolbar, if you don't have it. Helpful as all hell.

www.apolyton.net/forums
Everything else I need is bookmarked and easy to access.

Why clutter the top?
I open a window at google, then I open another to wherever else I am going.
Right now I have three open, two Law sites, and Apolyton. I'll be shifting back to Google, my email and Apolyton in a few minutes.

in Opera: I just start where I left off last time. Usually with my 3 main forums open and whatever else I was browsing.
in IE: about:blank
edit: And I found the google toolbar to be indispensable (I just stuck it up there where I had blank space anyways). Wish they had it for Opera (a simple Google Search Box just doesn't cut it).

I have Opera set to "continue from last time", so my "start page" is usually somewhere between 10-20 different pages, and apolyton is of course one of them

in opera, it's empty / whatever i had last.
in ie, it's about:blank.
in mozilla, it's also blank.
konqueror is also blank.
everything i need is bookmarked; and i don't like having to wait those few extra seconds to load a page i might not need.
besides, i have google bound to shortcuts:
in opera, g search string for standard google, gi search string for images;
in ie, i have the googlebar;
in mozilla and konqueror, i have to g/gi thing.

about: blank
I know that there's no site that I would want to go to 100% of the time, especially every time I open up a random new window to go somewhere else.

I am in the Construction trades, an Area Manager in Ready Mix Concrete with S & W Ready Mix Concrete, so I have weather.com so I may monitor conditions.
We live in southeastern North Carolina and things get pretty volitale here with Tornadoes and Hurricanes..so it pays to stay on top
