In Holy Grail, literally every scene is a laugh, except for those stupid monk cartoons in between.
Life of Brian has like 2 or 3 laughs overall...
B: "Friends! Stop fighting each other! We have to think of our common enemy!"
"The Judean People's Front!!"
B: "NO! The Romans!"
"Oh the Romans, well, I dunno"
"yeah, Romans, umm...
"kinda like them actually..."
B: argh

What about the "Naked Gun" movies? Those have some great laughs.
"Hot Shots" was pretty funny too!
Has anyone seen the movie "2001: a space travesty"?. It stars Leslie Nielsen and the lovely Ophelie Winter(yum!). It is about aliens who clone clinton, with the plan to replace the world leaders with imposters. It has some incredibly funny moments too!

I know it's a troll, but that's a really nasty thing to say. Did you get a little giggle out of that as you typed it, jerkoff?

No... that's another funny part of it... no Part II was ever made (or seems to be in the works).

There are more laughs in Grail than Brian, but the level of comedy in brian is better, and overall Brian is a better movie as well.
Come on, any movie that ends up with people singing look on the bright side of life while on crosses is genius!
Airplane!
We need to get them to a hospital.
A hospital, what is it?
its a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
And the jibe scene?
Naked Gun's one and Two were good, and I found both Hot Shot's movies funny. But all Nielsen parodies after that....

Another funny part of Airplane was when you had the line of people who wanted to slap that hysterical woman .

The "drinking problem," the line to slap the woman, and damn near every line by the little assistant guy in the Tower.
Airplane is a great one.

Paraphasing some lines from Airplane!
"Sucka don't want no help, sucka don't get no help." sounds funny coming from Barbary Billingsley.
"Sheeeet" gets translated in the subtitles as "golly".
"Billy (or whatever his name was), do you like gladiator movies?"
"Tell your old man to drag Lanier or Walton up and down the court all night"
Sight gags include everyone "assuming crash positions", and the stewardess "reinflating" the automatic pilot.

Jesus F Christ...
A thread on the funniest movie ever and all I see is talk about Spaceballs and Airplane?? Are you all Americans or something?
Laurel & Hardy: Way out West
Marx Brothers: almost every movie they made
WC Fields: need I say more?
Chaplin: ...
Buster Keaton: same as above...
Three pages of valuable cyberspace and all you come up with is Airplane

I loved Airplane and Spaceballs. A lot of people think I'm crazy when I say this, but I liked Men In Tights better.
