Problem with CREATEUNIT Command
I have a problem with the CREATEUNIT command in the event file. It is only possible for me to create one unit per event and not more. I saw it in other eventfiles that the creation of more units at different locations is possible, but not for me.....
Here is an example of my event:
@IF
CITYTAKEN
city=Groningen
attacker=Germans
defender=Europeans
@THEN
TEXT
^More British troops arrive at the french coast !
ENDTEXT
JUSTONCE
CREATEUNIT
unit=Crusader MkI
owner=Allies
veteran=yes
homecity=none
locations
89,39
endlocations
@ENDIF
I have to create this event three times to create three tanks. And this takes a lot of space in the event file. By the way, I use MGE German Edition.

Dont you just write in additional co-ordinates in the locations bracket?

Of course I wrote in additional coordinates, but civ ignores it. It only creates one unit in the first coordinate. All other locations/coordinates are ignored....

Make a specific example.
Edit: that is make sure they are on different lines.
locations
89,39
89,39
89,39
endlocations
Not
locations
89,39 89,39 89,39
endlocations
etc...
Edit: also, I think "JUSTONCE" should go right in between "endlocations" and "@ENDIF", likewise "owner" goes before "unit" and not vice versa.

A specific example ? Just put in the above mentioned event two or three others coordinates and only one unit will be created. I tried every possibility like three units in different coordinates, three units in similar coordinates, three units in coordinates with cities, without cities, only sea units, only land units, only air units, different owners, homecity "xxxxx" or none, nothing works.
Only one single unit appears

There's nothing wrong. Each unit needs its own event.. (well, not in ToT, but in FW/MGE)

Stupid me The extra co-ordinates are alternates in case one is occupied. Sorry Steff.

Sorry, maybe I did not explain it clearly. I want to create a specific unit (e.g. a british Crusader tank) at multiple (e.g. three) locations (1,2,3) with only one event. At present I have to use several events for it. One for creating the tank at location 1, and the two others for locations 2 and 3. And this costs a lot of event space.
When I look at others scen, (e.g. the new Fortress Sevastopol) several specific units (e.g only Wehrmacht) are created with only one event at different locations.

you mean that the first coordinate is the main intended location and all the others are alternate locations if the first one is occupied ? This could be the solution....Thanx a lot.

Yep!
For creating more than one unit with only one event, you need TestOfTime..
