But why close a thread with such great content? We should ask the mods to post this and the other active newbie thread on the first screen new users see after they register. Think of all the tribulations that could be avoided if this information were readily available!

My friends and I have xbox parties and usually play Halo. One day I absolutely smoked everyone there. The next day when I was gloating about it at work, two of the guys that were there were calling me a liar, telling me I was drunk, etc, so I had to find some crying babies to send to them to let them know how I felt about their comments.
As for choosing it as my avatar, everyone here seems to choose these really cool pics for theirs so I thought I'd dare to be different and choose something with no known coolness value.
Plus, it makes me laugh every time I see it.

I assume that DL has nothing to do with opening multiple windows of Apolyton at times of server being slow? That IS allowed, right?

DLs haver nothing to do with having multiple windows open.  It's perfectly allowed.  A DL is that you have several log-ins, ie usernames.
