"An empire without settlers has no future."
Size/Surplus/Storage/Production/Support

Imperialis 2,2,29*,6f5s2t,1
Dominion 2,1,12 ,5f3s4t,1
Majestica 3,1,10 ,8f8s3t,4
Glorificus 3,2,16 ,8f7s5t,2
Pax Apolyton 2,1, 6 ,6f3s2t,1
Enron 2,2,14 ,6f5s5t,0

Problems:

Majestica support needs to be lowered.
Rehome settler to Imperialis when finished with the road.

Enron needs to redistribute a worker from a grassland river square to the fur. This will net one additional tax a turn, replacing the shield that goes to waste.

Suggestions:
Revolt to Republic?
Someone should post a poll. Yes I know we get a horrendous shield crunch, as well as discontent from our units.

However, we will get WLtKD which will increase the size of our cities and greatly increase the productivity of our citizens.

I recommend examining the question, if not for now, then for later.

Buildlists:

Imperialis Phalanx (19) --
Dominion Settlers (11)
Majestica Settlers (10)
Glorificus Settlers (08)
Pax Apolyton Barracks (08)
Enron Barracks (14)

We need at least one settler per city developing an empire. "An empire without settlers has no future."

Secondly, I prefer temples over barracks so as to reduce total support in a revolt to republic.

I'm not sure what we should build in Imperialis at this point. Infrastructure or settlers?

The priests demand a Temple from which to teach the people about how they are the chosen people, how their ancestors ruled the world and lived like Gods, and that it is their destiny to rid the world of the barbaric tribes which brought our once great civilization down. All of this is known to us by our history, the people must learn how the ancestors watch over us and protect us from the barbarians!

give me a barracks for veteran troops and then we shall rid the world of any nation that refuses our requests for tribute.

Re: "An empire without settlers has no future."
The problem with building a lot of Settlers in Despotism is that each Settler adds 1 unit to the city's support list, while decreasing the ability to support units by one (since the city is 1 pop point smaller on building a Settler, and we have free support up to city size).

It looks like Dominion and Majestica may be shield-starved as a result of building Settlers.

I say, do some rehoming, exploring, start a war, and wait until Monarchy before really cranking out Settlers.

We should have a few cities turning out Vet units. Our military capabilities will be key to our game.

Since we seem to be a bit science starved, why not get a couple of cities up to size 5, and hire some scientists?

Lots of suggestions.

Why not build cities up to size five?

Might be better to wait for monarchy or revolt to republic to celebrate WLtKD.

Vote: Setlers
Reason: STYOM had a good idea in the presidents post, Get one city up to a decent size by sending in some settlers(5 sounds nice) Without seing the save I have no city to suggest but it should probably be our capitol to avoid as much unhappiness problems as we can. In the city where we are sending the new workers we should build a temple.
Result: higher science rate
