This "nude crowd" thing seems to be popular with artists at the moment.

I should become an artist and produce lots of modern arts with young female art students.

Well, I think we all know why that is!

Does it matter whether you call it art or not? I think it depends more on your definition of art than on what you think it is.

Like Martin Creed, an artist who one the Turner prize said "I don't make art, I make things". I think it's great that people do things like that, and I love performance art, though whether or not I would call it art really doesn't matter to me.

It would be much more interesting if he firebombed the crowd. "With this piece of art I want to put the focus on the fragility of the human body"

It's not art, but I generally do not have problems with nude females. The nude males and ugly women I can ignore. It's a win-win situation.

Hell, leftist "artists" want to do just about anything with naked people in it and then claim it is art. Art envolves some sort of composition and talent; taking pictures of naked people in the street requires neither.

No it is not art. In fact is it allowed to even do? Doesn't it violate public decency laws? Or have I been living in Latin America too long?

In my personal opinion, it isn't. I have done real art myself, and this isn't it.

It makes the profound and eternal statement that the "artist" has way too much free time. We need another Guernica if the Spanish are that desperate for artistic inspiration.
I could say something about the sexual saturation of society leading to a numbing effect requiring ever greater stimulus to provoke response and blah blah blah. But frankly, this isn't worth it.

Careful, Elok.. we spanish got plenty of artistic inspiration.. and by the way... the guy in charge of this crap was not Spanish.. he was a whacked out New Yorker. I don't mind tourists coming to my country to get ripped off.. but these whacked out people should stay the hell out of my country.

Right, because we all know their political ideology is a part of this.

How can that be? Sensibility is foreign to the left.

so if I take pictures of my penis and send it to women I like that would be art right? The judges never see it that way though, I always get restraining orders put on me.

Quite scaring me..

Also pay a visit to the second link in my signature.. can you read Spanish?

Well anyways.. leftism is the worst thing that has happened to this world. After of course those stupid cats that live in this house two blocks away from me.. I hate those stupid things.. and there are like twenty of them.

That is the only thing I can think of that is worse than leftism.

So cheerio again
And yes, I am a native speaker of Spanish, and no, I feel no urge to read Spanish right-wing claptrap.
