Pointless bit of Dexy's trivia...they had 3 hits I can think of in the UK, Geno and Come on Eileen both being number 1, and their cover of Jackie Wilson Said getting to number 5. When they performed the latter on Top Of The Pops on the Beeb the production staff for reasons that are since lost in the mists of time put up a large picture of toothless British darts player Jocky Wilson...
...and yet the band played on...
(He's the one on the right)

Yes they did:
I can't hold back
High on you
Search is over.
Although the last three songs were with a different lead singer.
ACK!

For some odd reason, I've heard the Dexy's Midnight Runners cover of Jackie Wilson Said three different times on three different local radio stations in the last year, which I find very peculiar indeed.

Vega had two hits.
"Tom's Diner" and "Luca"
She is also disqualified.

I'll just rattle off a couple here that I can think of off the top of my head:
A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)
The Verve Pipe - The Freshman
Lo-Fidelity Allstars - Battleflag
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
I'm sure you all have some more than this.

Dammit, people! One hit wonders have to have had only one hit.
Flock of Seagulls had two:
"I Ran" and "Space Age Love Song"
And the Bee Gees had so damn many they are permanently disqualified.

The Hooters - "Day by Day"; Their only national hit , but before they went national they were huge locally (in Philly) with a locally released album that had several great songs that radio stations played nonstop.
-and-
Donny Iris - "Ah Leah"
Still listening to them....

"Frankie had two hits - "Relax" and "Two Tribes" "
"The Power Of Love" got to number 1 as well in the UK.
The problem is they were all off the same album, so I can understand people classing them as one hit wonders.

There are many 2-hit wonders mentioned here. That is about the same as a 1-hit wonder IMHO.
