hows the civ2 communtity going?
i lost my civ2 cd how ever :*( but how is it with the greatest game of all time?

Too bad for you.  The Civ II community is doing fine with MP sessions regularly, succession games and now the Red Front democracy game. Also new scenarios are released occasionally, so things should be just fine.

The occasional scenario release has seemed like one a day for the last week
