That Lionheart thingie looks nifty indeed, not fancy schmancy 3-D just good old Fallout-style.

Star Ocean 3, and that's about it. Although Lionheart & DX2 could be good.

Where abouts? I am near Sydney, and my local EB said that it was delayed until July when I asking today.

Where abouts? At Civic in Canberra. I went in yesterday, and they had two copies of it sitting on the shelf. Maybe your EB store down there realy doesn't like you!

It's only two games that can come on my list!
Crusader Kings
and
Victoria
And especially Crusader Kings. It seems to be a new EU2. And that says much!
EDIT: I have at least reached my goal, to become King! Now, what's next...

Well I saw a proposed release date, and it is very early next year, so not that long really. It's interesting, companies seem to want to move things along a lot quicker these days............RTW will come out not much more than a year after MTW, with an expansion in the middle.

Well, they are reusing masses of the code, so that hurries things along, and even reusing some of the graphics. Should be a real gem

*drools* They can't possibly screw up such a great game this time around ala civ3 or moo3.

Hehe don't be a jinx.
Having said that it is harder to screw up HL2 than a TBS game like Civ3 or MOO3.

It's impossible to screw up HL, since to be able to screw up a game, you need a good game... it's hard to make HL worse, than it already is...

HL is huge, and I for one played it through twice. That's a lot of hours of gameplay. Sure Civ2 say has more, but it's a different sort gameplay.
As compared to the other games at the time (and many that came after) HL was truly a great game; a defining moment in SP FPS.

Half-Life also has a HUGE number of brilliant mods for it - not just CounterStrike but many many others.
It's one of the most replayable games ever, and an objectively excellent game IMHO ... but I don't want to argue about it. ADG is allowed to dislike it if he wants to.

Of course he's allowed to not like it.............but it was our duty to point out some of his reasoning was, to say the least, a little flawed.

It's the SP part that made me hate even more... I got bored to death, before I found the first enemy, and the story so far, wasn't interesting at all...
I only liked the Action mod (is that the one? The one where you could throw knifes), and CS, until CS was the one everybody played... now I hate CS, because people only play the same maps (de dust and that Aztec one)... I need games where there's some differences in gameplay, not just the same over and over again...

It's not really SC2 since it isn't RTS.............the real SC2 will arrive eventually, just as soon as Blizzard get a team free to develop it.

I'm going to propose a new law (for everyone on Earth) that they can't post 'SC' as the name of a game... there is too much confusion involved: SimCity, StarCraft, Soul Caliber... who knows what the Hell you people are talking about .
