The Dictator V2 Scenario is out, so i decided to open a PBEM game!

Third Reich : greeny
Neutral Allies : AI
United States : Conmcb25
British Allies : Conmcb25
Soviet Union : El Awrence
Japanese Empire : FiGu

Looks like the WW2 arch-enemies (Germany and Russia) are still awaiting challengers...

They are the most fun civs...
Once the war between them starts, it's a death or victory battle!

Should we post some rules here?

I think all players should post a battle report when they take a turn.

And remember to do the ctrl-N thing when your turn is done...

We should probably agree on some house rules before we start.

Also, does this version restrict negotiations between civs? If so I suggest we lift the restrictions for PBEM play.

Curt just posted about a newer map that will be out with this scenario in a few days. I suggest we hold off till then to start.

In the meantime house rules should be discussed and finalized and finding the final player.

Also I think turn reports are fine, but if, for instance, I don't want my rival to know I lost a bunch of units, I'm not going to include that in my report.

Curt talked about it in the Scenario league. I got the impression it was the final version of this version on a different map. And I dont know wbaout you but I would rather work with something that is closer to the final. I got the impression that the new larger map version would be out in a few days, if it doesn't come out that soon we may want to start with this one. Im waiting to hear back from Curt on this......

Well, the new version has been released so we can start. Something I'm not clear on: in this scenario techs like "Operation Barbarosa" and "USA Declaration of war" can be researched. I assume this triggers War against the relevent nation? And if it does won't removing the no-negotations flags make techs liks this redundant?

And will we use the Native city names or English ones?

Yes, but it will allow the game to progress as if we're controlling our civs, not the events controlling them as is necessary in SP.

The no negotiation thing has to go. If we cant negotiate this will be a lot less fun. And Choke wont be able to pull any wild stunts!

OK I've started it: let the carnage commence!

I deleted the no-negotiations bit in the events.txt, this should be stored in the save so other player don't need to do the same (I think

).

Meanwhile the luftwaffe make probing attacks on British air defences and skirmish with the RAF. And aBritish destoyer has been sunk by a German U-boat.
