At the moment I am trying to limit the time I spend online through selective viewing. The pace generated by the ACDG forum, even at this current sluggish rate, is enough for me.

Decided to post a few things in one post.

Nothing wrong with wanting to write about nuclear explosions. Although you'll probably be hard pressed to write about it in the hive ic story.

I throughly enjoyed laughing at the short terse replies you've been writing in a effort to limit your online time while still keeping your post count up

Also what do you think about the placement of the next city?
I think it should be over the nutrient. We need more growth, because we're lagging very badly in population size compared to everyone else.

Was surprised to see the decision re: the current colony pod. In all my verifications of recent turns I moved it down the Voltaro River (to just below the fungus patch in the bay) - base is established in turn 2 after completion, and can work the adjacent nutrient tile and also the mineral tile in its radius

'Tis quicker now to go where it's currently headed - next CP from Voltairograd can prolly still go there

Naw - it's mainly 'cos you, like the Drones, started the game with just 1 tech (versus 2 for the Uni, Pirates, Cycon and Angels) And the Angels and Believers started with 3 bases already built and I think the Pirates got their 3 built by turn 2.

Your Industry advantage is helping you incrementally, and after you meet a couple or more factions and start trading you'll soon rise in the graphs

I don't think there's any inattention to game detail at all - quite the reverse - everything seems to be well discussed in advance. And you have 4 bases (soon to be 5), with 2 scouts and 2 rovers out exploring, and are using the classic "builder" tactic of getting formers cheaply by rushing them in new bases using the free first row of minerals that way.

So I think it's just a matter of being patient and the growth in power will come

As regard to my effort of SMAX, now I finally see something different with the help of Comrade Kody (

), but it says that it couldn't find all the new factions. Do I need another download somewhere? I saw a install.exe in the list of the files. Should I run that? But when I tried that, it says xdfe53.dll has encountered a problem.

I really want to know how our numbers keep changing so much.
We managed to get 3 new members overnight, also we have two members that are on post counts of 0. Doesn't that look suspicious.

Yeah - I looked at that too. One is Tass coming back in, but I looked at the civgroup list and din't recognize any names that I didn't remember from before when there were 19 registered.

Tass - you wouldn't have 2 extra forum names now, would you???

Howver, I have noticed...If I leave, the number of members usually goes down to 18-19. If I come back, it goes up to 21-22.

I counted 21 members in the list although the list says 22. I think Krsna is a new member that I don't remember from before. I suggest the Chairman don't approve any new members for now.
