Well we shouldn't use too many disasters, otherwise it would appear too coincidental or we are too incompetant. Anyway people would probably expect us to go mindworm paranoid, trying to prevent another "mindworm disaster".
But a negative random event at turn 2130+ sounds promising. Or once we contacted an AI faction, say we are being heavily probed. (which is either true, or highly plausible)

Yes - they are in the game's Datalinks
for easy access, start up smac/x, then "scenario" and then "create scenario", and when the blank map loads, hit the left hand menu selection, then "HQ", then "datalinks"
Everything you ever wanted to know about the game is neatly tabbed there - concepts, formulae for almost everything, costs, etc etc

hmmm, maybe......but that would be telling everyone that we popped a pod and got unity rovers...have 'em thinking about how much rovers we actually discovered. It would also mean that the other factions would guess that we did a lot of exploring so far.
I'd rather have a scout because they're practically worthless and you can make 'em. BUT saying we lost a unity rover would be interesting to give out to the non-Hivers out there.
